    Your AI interferes and overrides why I have typed for location and time of day; then support does nothing to fix it per my request. No more Meetup for me

    I’ve been a hiking guide with Meetup for 12 years now, leading over 2000 hikes and Meetup.com is getting harder to work with. They’re taking more fees out of my pocket and unless I pay still more they take away even more resources. With every passing week it is even more frustrating and impossible to work with Meetup.com!!!!!!!!!!! I am so on the verge of closing down with them!

  • Checkin doesn’t work

    Just tried it last week for an event. It forgot every person I checked in, so I had to resort to paper. Checking in itself was also not intuitive. Why not just add (working) check-ins to the one app? Will not use again.

  • Somehow both better and worse than the browser app

    Managing a single event is cleaner in this app. Everything else is trash. It’s not even possible to upgrade my account from my phone. Come on meetup I’m trying to give you money. The apps “subscription” page shows what you have but you cannot change it. And their website currently will not allow you to log in from a browser. There are only sign up pages. If you copy the utl of the login page from a desktop then when you submit your credentials it wants to open the app.

    Setting America, USA, or United States as the country is not possible, so I couldn’t enter complete location in the suggested space.

    This app has had bugs for years which make it nearly impossible to edit events. The development team seems to be completely out of touch with the reality of the users of the app, despite releasing updates every now and then. I’ll stick to using the web.

  • Difficult to use

    The app is difficult to use. It takes several attempts to do anything. It’s especially hard to put in locations because the suggested items are not necessarily where I want to go, and it does not easily allow for me to put in the exact addresses of the venues.

  • Keeps on crashing

    I had to retype the event multiple times coz the app crashes. I’m using an iPhone 16 pro max it’s not the phone, it’s the app

    There’s no reason for an app to be this bad in 2025. It gets everything wrong to the point you have to log in to the website on a laptop to correct everything. delete this trash from the Apple Store.
