Aura: Security & Protection

Just signed up and had to call customer service twice to help me finish the process. Answered quickly and all both representatives were here in the US and well informed!!! This speaks volumes. So far so good.

Recently my employer has started offering this as an optional service with our benefits. The service seems useful - alerting of many types of personal data concerns. The app, however, tries to upsell you on their VPN service and even goes as far as blocking your phone from connecting to unsecured WiFi with a message to upgrade to their VPN service. This is overstepping and unacceptable behavior so I uninstalled the app immediately.

I was last December and Aura was suggested as a company that would make a difference. I have had so many complaints but they won’t email helping just to call them. When you call they argue, tell you that you’re wrong and the problems are not addressed. I’ve had 4 data breaches and this service was the last to alert me and still haven’t on twoof them. I was hacked there von didn’t do its job and the anti virus didn’t pick it up. When I emailed guess what I was told, their anti virus is only for computers. No wonder it won’t download and it won’t work I see this up in December of 22 was charged for 1 year service then charged in January of 23 for 1 year of service that has failed in every catagory they offer and can’t get a refun. Save your money this place is a joke, I have free apps that work better. Dissatisfied customer, Mr. Smith

Confusing. Need a HELP option.

Aura app seems decent overall and has a lot of features. However it is woefully lacking in guiding users. They forgot that all major carriers have spam protecting and their own test calls get filtered. If your app has spam blocking, how did you forget that!?! Either whitelist your test call numbers with the carriers or at least advise users to temporarily disable carrier spam protection. For example since I am on t-mobile I had to turn off scam shield temporarily.

They never have anyone answering their support line. They bundle a bunch of garbage into a package that is $15. It is like Amazon Prime where 80-90% is worthless. I would pay $4-5 a month for removing me from spam caller lists. The rest is trash.

Gives me bot lobbies

Don’t get me wrong. The entire app and platform is enjoyable to use. It’s very user-friendly set up is easy. I have them on all three devices that I have my cell phone my iPad and my laptop as I was going through one of the particular categories that you have a choice from is data brokers. It removed 28 of 39 brokers that were selling my information on the Internet that was worth a years subscription. I can’t wait for the updates to see what new is added I think I’ll have a lifelong connection to this application. What I would like to see is the opportunity to keep pushing for those data brokers that have not released my information; to do so. The ones that won’t release are critical ones at that… Also, maybe a clean-up of old or broken material from app deletion.

Aura there is a bug in your app when I go to the data broker section in my order app, it said I had 17data brokers opt out and it said I had five data brokers in progress that was going to be opt out so my data can be removed from data brokers but now in the order app it is showing I have zero data broker opt out request but that’s weird because before it said at 17 data brokers, opt out request successful but then it says that there’s zero data brokers opted out request, but it said five in progress so why is it not showing the data broker information on my aura app why is it not showing that information it should be showing all the histories and all the records of the data broker right now it shows zero data brokers in or app because before it said 15 data brokers successfully removed but now it doesn’t say five in progress because I had five in progress but now it shows zero can you please fix this in your aura app so that when I’m looking at the data broker section in The aura app it will show all the records of the data brokers that were successfully opted out and any that were in progress for five in progress. Should show up in the data broker section in the aura app so my data is protected and it’s opt out of data brokers. and it should be showing all the histories and all the records of many data brokers that were successfully opted out so I know how many were opted out and which website and which links and which data broker is to opt me out of my personal data and which ones are being in progress to be opted out so that no one won’t have my information and it’s been opted out from data brokers in Aura app it is not displaying it in The or App. I think there might be a bug in The or App if you can fix this and monitor this and fix it in the way so it will show all the histories of previous data brokers that opt you out and it will tell you how many times that Pacific data broker opt you out and it should display all the histories of the data brokers. They successfully opt out and if they try to get your personal in details again, then it will show that data broker and say we opting out the data broker again so you can see all the histories how many times the data brokers have removed your data so your data is protected and you no longer a part of data brokers 100% identity is protected with aura app but it’s very important to have my data removed from data brokers I do not want data brokers have access to my data so if you can please fix this and make sure that this is fixed 100% that would be great and make sure that any previous data broker that opt you out it will show the information on how many times they have got your personal information or how many times they’re getting your personal information so you know how many times that data broker is constantly getting your personal information to collect information from you and sell your information and give it to data brokers so you can know they have histories and you can see histories of data brokers and if it’s the same data broker, it will tell you that’s opting on again and this is how many times that they have got your data so you know you’re protected from data brokers 100% in The aura app so you know your data is protected 100% and you can see all the histories of every day to broker that try to get your data that was successfully opt out was show up in the app and they try to do it again then no say this date broke got information again were opting out again from the state of broken. They’re gonna keep opting out until your date is removed from the data broker 100% so your data is protected 100% and no data brokers won’t get information 100%. if you can, please bring this feature, that would be great because I agree that you should be able to see the history and the right of the history of every date the broker that opt you out you have the right to see all the history and how many times that they have got you personal information if they try to get it again and again and again they keep opting out and you say this is how many times this day of broker keeps getting your information. You should see all the histories of every day broker that opted you out before or after and it’ll tell you how many data brokers you out before and after and how many are in progress so you don’t have to deal with these data brokers 100% and or is protecting your identity and getting rid of these data brokers 100% guarantee no matter what so you don’t want to do the brokers ever again 100% so your identity and data brokers are removed from your personal detail information because data brokers don’t have the right to have your personal information. They need to be opted on you of the legal right to see all the histories of every day to broker that or is opting Your out you should have the right to see all that information forever and the information was staying there forever CF all the histories, all the records and all the information of every day broker that opt out in the aura app 100%. and you should have the right to see all the history and every history of every data of broker that or that’s opting you out will constantly constantly constantly see that data and the data will go down and down and down you pull down and show you later by letter which data broker that opted you out how many times they saw your data how many times or senior record how many times they have your data. It will be opted out 100%. You’ll see that data every single day as long as you have the subscription or is opting out your data 100% with the data brokers.

Strongly recommend Aura to anyone searching for identity protection plan that is reasonably priced and easily accessible. I’ve been nothing but satisfied with Aura.
