Trust me buy anything but this. They con you into a subscription when it says you get 100 pictures free THEY ARE LYING. I would just get regular cameras and make the trip out there.

I set this up for my backyard more as a security cam, paid for the annual service. It always sends pictures to my phone days after the picture was taken. I thought it would be immediate. Maybe I’m using it wrong. Idk.

For the most part I really enjoy the app. Wishful thinking I would like to be able to set operating times by times on the clock instead of daylight only or night time only. Another option that would be great to have is the on demand option.
  • Worst Camera Ever

Never records or records nothing and uses all of my pictures for the month. I had a camera previously that used a card that I would pull once a week and I had tons of wildlife pictures but I switched to this camera so I didn’t have to pull the card and it hardly records anything.

App will sometimes not send notifications. Often requires password even though face recognition is active. PITA, but does still work.
  • Subscription ridiculousness!

I’m not happy that the cameras don’t appear to be functional without the app…or even with just the app for configuration. This requires 2 subscriptions…one for the App (there is a basic free level), and a second for storage. I already pay for cellular connection and storage! And the free version with only a 100 pic/mo allowance still requires you enter a credit card number to set up! This makes me so angry! I’m setting it up for an elderly parent who purchased it from Walmart. No mention of subscription requirements in the box. So frustrating!
