    This is a promising app, but not quite ready for prime time. Speed limits are wrong more than they are right. Some exits are treated as nameless roads. No guidance available as far as which lanes to be in for a turn. Routing options are good. Routing itself is efficient. Reporting options (construction, speed traps…) work well. I’ve been using the app to get to places I’m familiar with, but don’t think I’d be able to trust it just yet in unfamiliar territory.

    1. Red light and speed camera alerts can often be false positives. The app often notifes you about cameras even if they are not in your direction but in another part of the intersection outside camera's detection and coverage area. 2. Restrictions in panning map for traffic and advance route planning including directions—not possible. No offline mode for route planning either unlike other GPS. Developers need to add and fix these issues.

    I use a myriad of different gps applications and when I came across this one in an article along with tomtom name I was excited to try it out. I’m a tad disappointed in the amount of crashes, glitchy CarPlay screens, and lack of options within the app itself. I think there is potential for this app to be better, I’ll keep trying to use it, but when the path doesn’t update or starts to jump on the screen it makes me want to go back to another application.

  • Add Route Previews like in the Normal TomTom app.

    On the main page when you tape on the the speed limit and the speed limit your going squares and go to the larger close up image It would be great to have the same color changes when you speed and go above your set limit

    For the most part, app is pretty good. Been having some issues with the app attempting to reroute me even though I didn’t miss a turn or an exit, the app sometimes doesn’t load a route even after I put an address. Whenever I try to press start on the navigation, it’ll just load with no response. It’s a great app most of the time, but the small errors are getting in the way of making it the best app.

    Map ran fine for 30 minutes then CarPlay screen went black, disconnected the phone and radio restarted. Also zooming out would not stay, might be the design of app. Would be nice to zoom out a little more.
