Patient teacher, which I really need. After you’ve listened to him for a while you do realize he needs a wider variety of phrases. Overall, I recommend.

Dr.Wolf taught me the basics now I’m getting into the more advanced tactics and I love it. If it had a multiplayer option for friends or ranked matches it would be 5 star easily.

Why is there no Caro-Kann Part 2?
  • Maybe ok for beginners

At advanced level the coaching consists of advice like “move your pawn this way.” No real explanation of how to plan a strategy
  • It WAS good.

The greediness of chess.com continued with this apps downfall. You used to be able to do the lessons for free with some extra stuff costing money. Now you have to pay to even do the lessons making this app nothing more than just a chess.com bot app. You don’t get feedback, can’t learn new strategies nor strengthen your chess. Do better chess.com..

I have been for an app to teach me chess and this is the best one I’ve found.
  • Chess.com’s Lazy Ai Coach

this app is missing like 90% of Chess.com’s BASIC UX functions there’s no “history” while playing, so you can’t go back a few moves to see what happened there’s no “analysis”, and there’s just an utter lack of board customization for an app “developed” by chess.com, it feels quite bare bones and annoying to navigate if this app just had all the basic functions like chess.com and lichess, it would be 4/5 stars the ai is -1 star as there is very limited dialogue when compared to chess.com’s coach bot feature when reviewing a game improve the ai coach with more dialogue and reduce the weird pauses in their speaking cadence also the coach say fianchetto as “FEE-N-CHE-TO” which is annoying TLDR: missing 90% chess.com’s basic functions no judgement to the original creator, David (dsjoerg)
