The system does not properly distinguish responsibility, so players who actually try their best are punished the same as those who ruin the game. What makes it worse is the matchmaking. It often feels like the system deliberately pairs you with teammates who are clearly far below the current rank level, while the opposing team is well-coordinated and experienced. This creates games that are decided before they even start. Skill, effort, and teamwork feel meaningless when outcomes are dictated by poor matchmaking logic. There is little to no effective protection for players who encounter AFK teammates. Losing a star because someone else disconnected or refused to play is incredibly discouraging and kills any motivation to climb. Ranked mode should reward consistent performance, not punish players for factors completely outside their control. Overall, the game has great potential, but the broken ranking and matchmaking systems severely damage the experience. Until AFK penalties, responsibility tracking, and fair matchmaking are properly improved, ranking up feels more like luck than skill.
