Update: You can get attacked 19 times before notifications alert you that you’re being attacked. If this isn’t a bug, I don’t know what else is. Of course, WB would want you to lose your troops so you can pay them to restore them. Everything else below still holds true! Warner Brothers, the King of pay to play games has outdone itself again! They bought out someone’s simple game and over complicated it with too many menu options and their standard pop up menu to sell you “packs” of materials and gold to further your “progress”. I would add a setting for Free To Play that when toggled, eliminates all of that visual noise and constant sales pitches. WB should be embarrassed that the Meister section gets out of sync with the users actions, giving the wrong impression that users spent their (free) resources and didn’t get anything in return. Tip: Back out of the Meister’s menus fully and go back to where you were to see your real standing. Same goes for the Crafting menu. The Alliance Chat (AC) should be the last thing you open, because if not it will appear black, when it should appear full of messages from your fellow bannermen (and women). The use of screen real estate is terrible and the font is too tiny to read on a phone, made worse by WB’s use of illegible eye unfriendly fonts. Buttons are too tiny to hit with your finger so instead of getting a reward, you get a description of what the rewards are and all the misses just add to your hate for the game. Never mind sending a support ticket: nothing will get fixed during your use of the game and you will have wasted your time to get a canned response. Serious gamers say WB support staff don’t even know the game well enough to help you. So what is the one star for? Mainly, for setting up a worldwide chat full of great people who share an interest in strategy games and form into teams called Alliances who battle each other for the Kingdom’s main castle, all of which borrows maps, characters and (daily and weekly) events based on the Game of Thrones Series. Can’t give zero stars, but that’s what Warner Brothers gets for such poor execution of a great concept originally pioneered by the Age of Empires franchise that Microsoft refined to a pleasant single and multiplayer experience. This is a cheap version of that. If you haven’t started playing, pick something else, and if you have, arm yourself with patience.

You realize that it takes 20-30k a year to be competitive. You’ll stay because you’re either a narcissist who loves to be the best or you’re a team player who thinks the narcissists care about your contribution (they don’t). Enjoy!
  • Cool but confusing

I’ve been playing a while but have no idea what I’m doing. I’ve tried to join a particular team but not sure how. Not sure what the point is in the game - kill things and level. It gets to the point where the only way to move up levels is to pay real money for materials used to level you. So I’m stuck and about to quit playing.

Only works good on wifi, so if your peace shield goes down…and you don’t have wifi…your out of luck and probably will get attacked

If you have money to spend and enjoy doing so, this is the perfect game for you. If you don’t have money, you’ll be at the bottom list of people and there will always be those that spend money looming over you to destroy you since they are much stronger

Not clear to my 15 year old that everything he was doing was being charged to my credit card. Racked up almost $500 in charges in 2 days. Apple says it’s not eligible for a refund. Enjoy the game while we figure out how to afford food this month. Play at your own risk. 1 star because I couldn’t give less. Got a reply from the developer who sent me a link to fix a game crashing issue. Gee thanks. Very helpful. Try fixing the game so it’s not costing an arm and a leg to play. You might also want to make it clear that the player is about to spend real money.

Buggy, forced updates because of poorly written code. Very confusing layout. This is a quit delete.

Don’t waste your time with this game it’s pay to play. You will have fun first few days and then someone stronger will attack you and you will have wasted time even money. And it is so incredibly difficult to take a seat of power and level up
  • Great Game, but buggy

Regularly loses graphics and sync with server forcing restart. Prior to locking my iTunes Store from in game purchases I was getting random purchases applied to my account without my authorization. Had to have Apple reverse charges twice!
  • The game freezes
