  • I’m Not Bob Seger, Stop Turning the Page.

The page turning mechanism is too touch sensitive. I would like to stay on my page instead of being thrown to the very first page or moved to the next every time I accidentally touch the screen.
  • Love the access to DC Comics but…

Have spent a whole lot of time using the Marvel Unlimited app and one of my biggest complaints for that is their reading guides are pretty minimal and can be hard to maneuver. I love that the reading guides on this app are fully complete with either the core story or including all of the tie ins. But my biggest complaint is the overall maneuverability of this app; when having the device landscape the app when outside of the comic doesn’t change which is just inconvenient and a hassle, when reading a major crossover event it doesn’t give you the suggestion for the next issue in the reading guide, it just offers the next one in the series, and when reading an issue with smart panel it can take multiple attempts to go to the next panel and I’ve had sometimes where it just skips a panel or two. Overall I do really like the app it just could really use some quality of life updates that would make the experience a lot more pleasurable.
  • Could be better

There’s a great collection of back issues here, absolutely worth the price for that alone. However, as a modern app it’s lacking a lot of QoL. There are no filters for things like release date, issue number, or story arc. Searching for a particular issue means scrolling through possibly hundreds of issues, each time. There is no way to sort a custom library beyond adding series to a list. The “Dive Back In” selection displays titles you’ve already finished, making it a headache to navigate. The reader is very lackluster. There is no functionality beyond simple zoom and poorly-cropped panel-by-panel viewing. There are so many bugs I can’t list them all here. Support has been great about fixing the ones I’ve come across, but expect to pay $12 a month and read comics for less than half that time. Worst of all, the Marvel app has zero of these issues. If you’re wanting to read back issues, it’s great. If you’re anyone else, just use Hoopla or read Marvel. ‘Nuff said.
  • It’s okay

Needs landscape mode when browsing and searching. It’s annoying having to rotate an IPad to browse titles. Lack of sorting and filter options makes navigating the app a chore.

I paid for the ultra subscription, I cannot access any of the the “ultra” comics. Contacted support, no human response.
  • Great App, but…

I enjoy being able to read comics digitally and catch up on things that are otherwise too expensive physically. However I wish the app had a landscape mode for navigating the main ui. Marvel Unlimited’s app has this feature and to not have it is a bit annoying
  • Great app needs organizing

Wish there was an option to organize the comics u put in your own lists/downloads, such as by publishing date, A through z, etc Other than that absolutely love the app love the availability and love ultra option for availability of current comics highly recommend
  • False Advertising - “7-Day Free Trial” not honored

The “7-Day Free Trial” advertised in the app by DC when signing up for one of the two subscription plans is not being honored by DC. You will be charged for the full cost of the subscription and you will not receive a refund if you cancel the subscription within the 7 day period as promised by the text on the app at sign up.
  • Error

Error after error after error…… app wants you to have a subscription but every time you get into a comic and flip the page it just brings up Alfred error page…. DC fumbling their app like WB does the movie side of things…. If you want people to pay to read digital books at least have an app that works….
  • Horrible App, Horrible Service

I don’t get it. I subscribe for it, I get everything I need to do done for it, and then my subscription gets taken away. Absolutely horrible.
