    We really wanted to love PureFlix. After 2 years we are still completely unimpressed. We pay annually with a strong desire to support a Christian network. However, we do pay money for this app and rarely get to use it because it is so dysfunctional. On our LG TV, a basically never works. It really works on the iPad we set up for our kiddo to watch VeggieTales from time to time.

    I do like this app. Lots of great movies. But if you want to cancel. It’s almost impossible. No way to cancel on the app. It makes you go to a website then when I have tried to cancel it literally does not let you. So 2 stars for me.

    If possible I would rate a negative 5. Casting is absolutely horrible. You can’t watch 2 minutes of a movie without tiling and buffering.

    if you don’t have a game pad for your tv than don’t bother. I Set up an account on my iPad and paid than went to set it up on my tv only to find out that it isn’t like any other streaming service I have. They require a game pad. So I cancelled immediately after paying but was not given a option for refund. So I just paid for a month and can’t watch on my tv what a ripoff!!!

    I watched pure flex for a couple of months then when it came time to cancel they told me they could not find me on there computer so they needed my account number which i didn’t have but they continued billing me for years… with time I forgot . It’s been probably been 5 to 7 years since I’ve been paying them for nothing because with work and kids I do t have time to watch … so my advice is to not join .. get other company that doesn’t give u a hard time. ….lol And they call them selfs Christian …. No stars for pure flex

    I really enjoy Pure Flix and the programming. The app however is horrible and comparative to dial up internet in 2024. Series with multiple seasons are extremely difficult to search with often the app not opening or showing all the seasons/episodes to keeping track of last viewed episode. Also the app doesn’t allow for watching across multiple devices, leave off on one and pick up on the other. Really with Great American would put some money into the app for more technologically friendly. It’s antiquated and makes the 80 dollars a year a tough choice.

    It is a decent alternative for streaming service that is clean and family friendly. I personally enjoy the Veggietales series with my kids and probably the only reason why I currently have an active account. Some of the movies are very campy and too goofy for my taste but that’s ok for now. Would like to see original content that isn't too close to the hallmark vibe. On the app side, my biggest issue is that I can’t create “My List” or favorite videos. For whatever reasons, it’s broken on iPhone app, & Apple TV app. I’ve even tied using the web browser. If y'all can fix that, that would be great.
