  • Worthy addition

First, I LOVE Apple Music and it serves me well. I’m keeping it but I added Tidal for the HiFi, Master, and 360 reality (played through my Sony WH-1000XM4 headphones). In addition, when I use the airplay with my Apple HomePod (I have 4 in a room) the Master recordings BLOW ME AWAY. Yup, I’m sold.

Tidal is like listening to music I have loved for years for the first time. I had forgotten how much better CD quality was than regular streaming after 25 years of listening to internet radio. I will never go back to Spotify even when they supposedly upgrade their streams (which will still not match Tidal, BTW). And don’t believe the FUD that Tidal doesn’t have all the tracks. Simply not true. I listen to some pretty obscure stuff and there is not one title I have in a playlist that Tidal did not have. There are services that transfer all your playlists easily so migrating is almost painless. You might find one or two titles that don’t transfer right away, but don’t panic. They will show up as grayed out, so you will know they didn’t transfer, but—again—don’t panic or give up. Just use Tidal’s search and you will find them. Probably just an error in the service I chose but of hundreds of tracks there were only two tracks to which that happened.

I like the app but I also like the Name Tidal. The name reminds me how Celestial Bodies are Tidal Lock to other celestial bodies. ONE
  • Fantastic sound quality but....

    By RockstarJDF
This streaming service provides sound quality streaming leaps above the rest. I’m happy with almost everything except the Car Play interface in my Ford truck. Actually every vehicle I’ve owned with CarPlay has been glitchy. Sometimes won’t even play. Doesn’t start back up if I stop even at a gas station for 5 min. Won’t start where I left off. These things need to be addressed.

I had to check this out myself!!! I'm super in Love with this!! I like the fact that it gives You a 30 day free trial and the fact that they Have a 12.99 plan as well. It introduced me To a lot of artist I never even heard of. But I seriously love music of all kinds and I Think they should push the fact that THEY HAVE A FREE 30 day trial because so many People are complaining and they never even Looked into it!!! 5 stars from me and big ups To Jay

  • Update Needed. 3+ yr subscription user

Hey app is obviously a 5 star but for some reason when I press the three dots to the right of a song I’m not able to select Next Song. Instead it automatically plays the song, there is a work around but that’s not the point. Please update. Thanks I complained about a issue and it was fixed. Thanks!!! The best music app out there!!

  • Tidal App

I enjoy the app and it seems like every song I look for is here. The only irritating thing is the app seems to always have a bug. I have never shared my account log in with anyone. The only authorized device on my account is my iPhone. In spite of these facts I constantly get a message saying my account is playing on another device and hit resume to play music on my iPhone again! The error just happens in the middle of a song and pauses my current song. Yes I double check I have only 1 Bluetooth device on in my house at the time I get the error. The error also happens in my car or at the gym where there are not multiple Bluetooth devices. I make sure my iPhone software is up to date and I try deleting and downloading again the Tidal app and yes I still get the error. I’ve tried asking for support help and I was told to only play my account on one device at a time even though I explain my iPhone is the only place I have ever even used my account! Sometimes the error just stops after a few days but it always comes back!!

no way to download music without staying in the app and killing my phone. it’s been a week and i’m still waiting on 1700+ of the 3000 i started downloading. when i’m listening to a song there isn’t an option to simply download. i have to add to my collection and then go there and try to download from there...what is that? apple music is def easier so i’m going back to it. the only thing here that i like is the fact that tidal makes better music suggestions for my ion and just generally. other than that; load of crap. it’s for people who want to spend hours in their apps doing stuff rather than listening to music.
