Description

Planetary Clock is simple and elegant app what shows positions of all planets of the Solar System at any given day. The app uses precise calculation to determine accurate positions in real time. Sun’s and planets sizes are not to scale in order to show them clearly, but other parameters such as size of orbit, eccentricity, shape of the orbit and position of planets are calculated using precise NASA data. Planets are also realistically sized to each other

Simple app that does exactly what is stated in the description, no more and no less. One reviewer indicated the planets jump when rolling from the 31st to the 1st. That is because you also have to manually change the month and then the planets move smoothly.

This is really a dumb app. Would be nice if you could zoom in or out, and tilt the solar system. Can't believe that this is even in the App Store. Glad I got it during a "free" period. Deleting!!

Disappointing, inaccurate, planets jump into new orbit when changing from 31st to 1st of following month. Interface hardly fits, scrap it and start over... Sorry but this app is a waste of 99cents : (
