Pocket - AI Thought Companion

I feel like an absolute idiot buying a $100 recording device to attach to a device with recording ability. It touts its features as “an external brain” but honestly reminders, calendar events, and to dos are so much easier retained by just saying “Hey Siri” as opposed to… whatever this is. Again, Pocket is a bad product that I highly recommend not buying. I regret every moment I feel a need to attach it to my phone, solely as justification of the purchase. Please, learn from my mistakes.

Received my pockets under the same email address. My goal was to gift one to my wife. We both work with the same company but vastly different jobs. Having every conversation under one pocket account was going to get very confusing for me. Which it is what happens when both pockets are registered under the email address you ordered them with. Emma and Vijay with Pocket support were able to assign one of the pocket accounts registered with my wife’s email address. Thank you Pocket team!

Constantly sends useless notifications, and then when you turn notifications off, forces you to click through a screen about turning notifications back on. Constantly asks for you to rate the app. Well, I’m rating it now.

Just got this as a gift and tried to ready privacy policy, but it was a 404 page not found. That was after I gave it full access to my calendar? No thanks.

I’ve been using Plaud for over a year and I’ve been very happy with it, especially given some of the recent improvements. However, this platform is a lot better in every way, except for the size and the sharp angles on the corners. I would still recommend it to anyone.

Tiny robot? Huge help. It’s been super reliable as long as I remember to hit record like a functioning adult and avoid loud chaos-zones. When I do that, transcripts are sharp and summaries are clutch. Bonus points for switching summary styles, like mood rings, but for productivity. Totally worth the cash. My brain thanks me daily.
