Hey there! I have to say, this is the first app I’ve ever used that honestly boosted my learning and listening comprehension. I’m currently learning Japanese here and I enjoy the structure of how it teaches you. The only thing I’d wish for is immediate hiragana translation on some of the bigger Kanji characters. However I’m on the fence as the way it is has helped me read the Kanji faster. (Maybe just the first time you see the word it’s in hiragana🤷🏾‍♀️) otherwise the app allows you to learn faster and listen. Major takeaways: - you can learn at the pace you need while the app still pushes you. - The AI listens when you need or slow down or speed up - You can actually have full conversations that go whatever direction you need it to so you can learn more vocab. I genuinely enjoy it and would recommend it to anyone who’s serious and is tired of reading random dictionaries to learn🤣

So if the title isn’t a giveaway, pingo ai does not offer free features. Which isn’t necessarily a problem but if you’re looking to learn a language for free don’t go for it, but if you have money to spend, I can see this being a great resource.
  • Good but bad

I got this because I wanted to improve my Japanese pronunciation, but after doing the first lesson I wasn’t able to do anymore speaking lessons without paying. I don’t know if this is a bug or if you have learning locked behind paywall, but please fix this! Overall, this is a good app for learning and I really like that I can add my own vocab!

I was excited to learn Korean until I did one lesson and all of a sudden everything costs money! I’m only making this five star so you see this. Don’t play this app unless you want to spend money.

I dislike this app for teaching people Arabic. It’s not very informative and doesn’t allow you to understand how to spell, write or announce the words.
