This is the app that I’m searching for. Simple, yet does the work. Oddly, this app motivates me to complete my Anki cards more easily. I suppose it’s because it grasps the effort I put for those test failures, and illustrates it in a mentally compensated way. There might have some possible considerations for improvement though. Firstly, the Setting icon could be placed at the bottom left corner since the existing setting makes the title not in the middle and leave that corner an empty space. Secondly, I sometimes find displaying the exact number of strikes a bit distracting. A “coarse counting mode” that only cast the abbreviated style of counting (like from 21,096 to 21k) provided as an optional choice may help. Apart from number shortening, it might be a cool thing to add a notification if the number changes, for instance the background of bar app goes green or a thumb-up emoji emerges for a few second when 21k turns to 22k. And lastly, it would be better to store statistics for a longer period of time (like a year) and allow the data to be exported as files. Anyway, it’s an interesting widget to play with.
