    Dear boom beach and supercell. Over I love boom beach and am a leader of a very successful task force. I like the new concepts you have added but I would like to see a task force vs task force game mode. Similar to coc with raid weekend were task forces can custom build bases and upgrade them and use proto troops to attack other clans every weekend or once a week . And the rewards will be higher than ops. Thank you hope to get a response to this.

    I never take the time to do reviews until now. This last update requires “Evil Coins” and obtaining Resources to upgrade is RIDICULOUS!! I’ve ALWAYS paid for the Pass and paid for other perks and resources every month! Devs have lost a long time player and I won’t spend another DIME unless they bring back most of the old style. “Some” Evil Coins would be reasonable, but EVERY Event? C’mon!!! 🤦‍♂️

  • Absolutely Horrendous Support

    I’ve been playing this game for almost a decade, and I can no longer access my account. When I load up the app, it says I need an Unlock Code because of suspicious activity. I have not received a code to my email, nor do I have any way of reaching out to find this access code. Supercell has no phone number to call, when I emailed them, I got an auto reply that said I need to contact support through the app (which I cannot access no matter how many times I re install). So I’ve resorted to opening the app on my sister’s phone to attempt to resolve the issue on there. I gave them all of the information I had and asked how I’m supposed to get my account back. All I got was “we don’t have enough information to verify it’s you” they didn’t follow up to ask for the information they needed, nor did they give me a course of action I could take. I attempted to follow up and I got an auto response saying a real human will be with me soon, it’s now been nearly 24 hours with no response. This shouldn’t be able to happen in 2025. There are so many apps and games that have functional account support, why doesn’t supercell?

    I’ve had this game for a while and pretty much tackled all events. My ratings is based on my experience. Too many glitches in connected battles. Even after you win and wait for 15 seconds sometimes more the glitch gives it to the opponent. Terrible packs to purchase not even worth it anymore. Fix your glitches!

    This game has consistently gotten worse with every new update. They have nerfed the production on resources making it very difficult to level up defenses. It’s a shame, this game used to be awesome.

    I played this game a lot when I was younger, stepped away for a few years and came back to it recently. I was enjoying it, although paying for an extra builder and instant training wasn’t ideal it was worth it because the game was fun and enjoyable. I also enjoyed the boom pass and the rewards that came with it. However, this latest update has changed all of that. While this game has always been somewhat of a grind, it was worth it and fun. Since the change in reward system from resources to the evil shop and the recent price increases within it, it has become extremely difficult to get enough resources to upgrade anything (and I’m only at HQ level 20). Not to mention the poor matchmaking system that results in being put up against people 20+ levels higher than you. Before this could be managed through rewards from the cycle of evil but not since the recent update. I don’t usually write reviews, especially negative ones. But the changes to this game have made it not longer enjoyable and if/until things change I will not be putting any more of my own money into this game, and will likely reduce my playing time if not stop entirely.

    Overall, I would say Boom Beach is a very good game that, at least in my opinion, is more entertaining and engaging than other “base-building RTS” games (including Clash of Clans), as, unlike those other games, Boom Beach as less focus on defenses that “halt” progress, namely walls, that are both boring to fight against and boring to build/upgrade. More importantly, Boom Beach focuses heavily on the attacking aspect of the game, wherein you are able to use “abilities” (weapon payloads) during every engagement as long as you have the “Gunboat Energy” required to use them (given at the start of an attack and gained when destroying buildings), which is unlike Clash of Clans’ “spells,” as those must be crafted each time before and attack. Alongside this, and arguably the most important feature of all, is that troops that don’t perish during an attack are *returned* to your base, whereas in Clash of Clans any troop used is gone. This means that you are encouraged to use “all-out” attacks more often, rather than trying to use as few troops as possible. The recent major update, which introduced the ‘Shop of Evil,’ as well as the many previous updates before it, have all added wonderful and good improvements to the game, however, I must left a poor review at the time due to SuperCell’s change of the Shop of Evil that increased the cost of the shop items by double or even quadruple amounts compared to the shop’s initial state. The initial state of the shop was very good and actually caused myself and other players to want to engage with the Shop of Evil’s rewards, but, following the increase in the shop’s prices, has now made it a relatively lackluster portion of the game. If the shop is reverted back to its better pricing, I believe it would not only be more enticing and engaging for current players, but would help add to the list of strong features to list to new or potential players of the game. Additionally, if such a shop reward revert is performed, I’ll almost certainly change my review to be more positive (4-5 stars).
