    I like the game, I was totally intrigued at first, but you have to do way too much grinding to get to the next level with not much change to the game. I feel like it’s not even worth the time now. I was just about to delete it, but I decided to make this review in hopes that things change soon

    The amount of ads you need to watch is insane. Of course you could pay a few hundred dollars instead. It has potential but way too many ads are required. Bored after 2 days of playing

  • Fun Events, Great Start, But Progression Falls Off

    Ghost Invasion is genuinely fun and has some of the best rotating events I’ve seen in a mobile game. Events refresh every 4 to 6 days and, so far, I’ve only seen one repeat. The rest have been unique, well designed, and actually engaging, which is rare and appreciated. My main issue starts once you unlock the graveyard. At that point, the main house environment becomes almost meaningless from a progression standpoint. The rewards from ghosts in the house are dramatically lower than those in the graveyard. Capturing every ghost in the house feels far less valuable than catching a single ghost in the graveyard, which makes that space feel abandoned rather than expanded. I wish there were new areas of the house to explore or higher value ghosts introduced to keep that environment relevant. It’s a fun space, but it quickly loses purpose. There are also far too many ambiguous upgrade paths and currency systems. At a certain point, it becomes difficult to track what matters and what does not, and I’ve honestly given up trying to understand some of them. When a currency or upgrade is unclear or becomes obsolete quickly, it ends up having no value to me as a player. The main house introduces currencies that stop being useful once you max out their very short upgrade lifespans, which only adds to the confusion. The graveyard has similar issues. Many newly unlocked areas reveal empty ghost pods that require yet another currency to activate. Most of those pods seem to require the same currency that you eventually earn after unlocking them, which makes the process feel boring and a bit pointless. On top of that, upgrading your ray gun in the main house is completely separate from upgrading your “cursed” ray gun in the graveyard, which feels unnecessarily fragmented and odd. The game starts strong but begins to feel stagnant and even a little sad once you hit a certain level, which happens fairly quickly. I would love to see more evolution in the game. New house areas, more meaningful ghost variety, or rewards that are on par with graveyard souls would go a long way. Overall, it’s a fun game, but without deeper progression and clearer systems, it risks becoming monotonous over time. I want more. I crave more gameplay.

    Game is trash. Starts off ok. I even spent a few $ for power-ups. Game is wayyyyyy to grindy. The whole back and forth is annoying and perks barely make any difference. The whole upgrade system is trash too. It’s an IAP mess. The concept is nice. The devs coulda got me hooked with less adds and popups. You’re welcome for my small donation but I’ll be deleting this now.

    Been playing for about a week. Game is fun. Only issue is it runs my phone so hot. And it crashes ALOT!!!! Can’t report it in the game either cause in order to do that the game has to be able to let you push something. It freeze soon as it loads up.
