Description

Bezel gives you a sharp readable mirror of your iPhone and iPad right inside Apple Vision Pro. Apple Vision Pro pass through makes text on your iPhone fuzzy and hard to read. Bezel gives you a sharp readable mirror showing the screen of your iPhone within the Vision Pro. You can even share this digital copy of your iPhone in a FaceTime call. Bezel is also very useful for developers and editors to preview apps and websites they work on. Put the iPhone presenting the content you work on next to your editor inside Vision Pro. Mirroring requires an iPhone or iPad with the free Bezel iOS app from the iOS App Store.

I no longer need to use the accessibility font sizes.
  • It sorta works until it doesn’t (iPad version review)

At first I was hoping to use it as a way to essentially at least treat it like a screen mirroring feature for the iPad as you would with a MacBook, but it was short lived because… 1. It has no audio streaming to the Vision Pro, so you’d need to connect your Bluetooth headphones directly to the iPad to make it work. In other words it is purely only a display. 2. Even with the best internet connection possible, the frame rate will be a bit choppy. It’s much more noticeable when using something like a mouse to navigate the iPad screen. 3. Screen resizing is possible, but it’s a bit tricky to find the corner. So unless you have the “Use two fingers to resize” option enabled on the Vision Pro it will be easier to resize it. 4. The screen orientation is wrong when using it on an iPad, So if I were to say, have my iPad sideways it would be displaying it vertically on the iPhone screen on the Vision Pro end and vice versa. 5. It seems to be not displaying the the full corners of the streaming screen depending on how you have the screen oriented, so expect to look back at the iPad every once in awhile or flipping between the vertical and horizontal positions of the iPad. So until these issues are fixed in a later update, I will change my review.
  • Promising, but needs work

I agree that the app needs to have resizable windows. The lack of support for iPad screen orientation and size is also disappointing.
  • Really like it!

Would be neat to see the app track your phone in your hand and move around with hand tracking (kind of like a virtual version of using your phone)
  • Allow resizing please

Works as intended, but the size of the mirror is very large and I cannot see a way to resize it. If possible, would also be helpful if I didn’t have to restart a session from my iPhone every time i lock it. The big use case here is for people using the AVP who pick up their phone and want to check notifications or quickly use it. If I have to take the AVP off to unlock and/or launch again each time from the iPhone app, then the use case is no longer relevant.
  • Works great.

Streams the feed of the iPhone which basically is like having another monitor.
  • Neat but not as useful as I hoped.

The developer did a great job. I just don’t think Apple gives developers access to make this the app I really wanted. Mirroring your phone is slightly useful for using the phone with the headset on, however what I really was looking for is to have the phone virtually in the headset so I don’t need to touch the phone. This app is not that.
  • Does exactly what it says

This is a very simple app that actually does what it says. The only thing that I don’t like is that you’re not able to resize the screen in your Apple Vision Pro.

It works really well. My only feedback is that I need to be able to resize the projected iPhone
  • Phone timeout is an issue

This is a very interesting app. It pretty much does what it says it’s going to do which is mirror, the phone screen to my Apple Vision Pro. However, when the phone times out at the maximum default of five minutes connection is lost. Since there does not appear to be a way to make the phone stay alive longer this makes this app less than useful. I’m not sure there would be a fix for this. I am honestly regretting the purchase at this point.
