  • Bad Systems Hurt an Otherwise Great Game

I liked the original Shadowverse and was really excited to play Worlds Beyond. It looks great, plays great, and the artwork is amazing. The gameplay loop is genuinely enjoyable. However, what’s not great is the currency and pulling systems. Instead of 100 coins per pack like in OG Shadowverse, it’s 500. Take Two also costs 1000 Coins for entry now. Then there’s the pulling. 250-300 pity for a chance at obtaining a single Leader, and even after that, you have to redeem a Lucky Ticket for them and their other cosmetics. In order to earn all cosmetics, it’s about 750-800 packs to try and get all of one leader’s cosmetics. It’s quite a struggle to earn enough for these, to the point where players have to spend money on virtual cards to get it. OG Shadowverse has it way easier, all players have to do is pull a legendary and receive equivalent leader. It would really be great if the developers could modify these systems to make it better on players to pull packs, obtain leaders, and pay for endgame modes.
  • Not even P2W, it's P2L against people that also paid

Game doesn't even have the courtesy to let you buy power. You'll just lose against other P2W. Garbage experience.
  • It’s bad

Shadowverse original game app and the shadowverse switch games are better.

I think it’s a good game though, some users are being too mean lol
  • Liked the game but the design and matchmaking kinda fell off

Game is fun and was good on release. Card design kinda spiraled into most decks being focused around the 6/7/8 energy range, and basically counting how many you have compared to the opponent. Early game cards 1-5 feel low impact EXCEPT swordcraft which has always had insanely strong early game cards, and only continues to get better. Just make early game feel more impactful again.

The voice acting is really good. The art could be upgraded a little art kinda looks a little bit AI like some of the cards look AI but mostly the art is really good. The voice acting good in the game itself is really good. It’s like a nice stress reliever.

It’s a good game and all but it’s really hard to win like they don’t take it easy on you like other games which some times really frustrating but I love the characters and you get rewarded no matter what
  • Good Online Card Game

I have played a lot of online card games and I currently play MTG and Sorcery physically. If you do your dailies and commit to 1 or 2 crafts that you will never lack for a competitive deck. The game is relatively free 2 play. If you do that. The animations are great the events are okay and the balance is honestly pretty good. Very enjoyable game.
