The app logo for this always made me think it was a cheap kids game. I was shocked to find that it is a professional flight sim available for Mac & iPhone. It even has an Aerosoft-modeled A320. OMG.

I typically fly X-Plane 12 on my Mac but I wanted to try this for something different. I had tried a previous version from the App Store but I could not get my joystick to work reliably. This version works nicely with my CH Combat Stick and Logitech rudder pedals. So far I only have about 3 hrs of flight time, mostly in the F-15, but it’s very enjoyable! Just completed a no AP flight from Travis AFB to Edwards AFB. I like the auto NAV frequency set, visuals, scenery and the fact that it’s less complex than X-Plane 12. It’s a nice change of pace!

Great graphics, with joystick support for my VKB Gladiator NXT. Flight physics are easy to understand, and I like the challenges. Would appreciate more ethnic variety in the pilots, or some customizability, something like MS Flight Sim.

The most rubbish simulation I've ever seen. Shame on me for spending $35 on this game.

I have several flight simulators for my iPads and also Macs. Aerofly FS strikes a good balance between realism and ease of use. The iOS version (name ending in Global) is even easier but this Mac version has more features. I fly X-Plane when I'm training but fly Aerofly more often because it's more relaxing. I fly the other sims just for fun.

I have been flight sims since Microsoft came out with the first flight sim a few decades ago. Sadly when I swicthed over to the Apple IMAC M3 computer it was too much of a hassle to get Steam and Microsoft up and running. I tried X Plane 12, the scenery is just junk. Aerofly hit the nail on the head with the scenery and the way you are able to control the aircraft. The only thing lacking is moving ground traffic and more military aircraft. All in all a job well done. Semper Fi
  • Cannot connect to fswiget navigator with MAS version

I really love Aerofly FS4 and their approach to flight simulation. My only gripe is that I cannot connect to ios versions of fsw navigator no matter what I do. I have connected x-plane 12 successfully, so it is not a firewall issue...
