  • There needs to be more filters

    This is definitely one of the better dating apps, but one of the biggest issues is that there’s no actual filters outside of age. At the very least there should be a filter for distance so I don’t end up matching with someone who lives on the other side of the planet. There could also be filters for ethnicity, smoking, drinking, height, weight, etc. it would just make it a lot easier to find people that fit my preferences.

    It never lets me request anyone anymore, it always says “No cards in your criteria” no matter what age gap I put

    The app isn’t that bad at all, I used to have the app wink 2 years ago, before the devs changed it and replaced it with this app, I just stopped using it last year. In the old wink app was fun, i actually made a lot of friends and people to talk to my age. The only thing i dislike about this new one is the soda+ because you can’t really see who added you anymore, it was kinda hard changing the describe, name, bday, etc. It got alot more complicated than the old wink app. In the old one you can see who sent you a friend request and their information before deciding if you’d wanna talk to them or not, even with sending DMs. But overall this new one still is good, just not as good as the old one. ^_^

    This is the worst app ive ever used in my whole 16 years of living!! -100/10 dont recommend. Staff are USELESS and called me ugly. People here are ai! And arent real… DONT get this app!!!

    i had the old app and it was great and i actually made a lot of friends. thought i wanted to make more friends again and downloaded the old one nd it took me to this app. download it and sign in, set everything up nd then im onto whatever. says i got a request so i go to look at it, then says i have to pay to look at who requested me. how am i supposed to make friends if i cant accept the request??

    I used this app and was easily able to bypass age verification despite not being the age I claimed to be. This experience has made it clear that their age verification process is broken. When I created my account, I lied about my age to see if I would bypass it. The app then accepted this without any questions simply because I “looked older,” which is a shocking oversight for any platform that claims to prioritize user safety. Not only did that happen, I also had no assistance when it came to recovering an account. I have been waiting for over three months for a response, and the only feedback I have gotten is that “my request is under review and will be reviewed” with no response after a while and that their team is “busy.” This is completely unacceptable. No one should have to wait this long regardless of the users concern. The apps failure to properly verify ages, coupled with their lack of costumer service, is a huge problem. If they can not ensure the safety of their users or even provide basic assistance when issues arise, I can not recommend this app to anyone. It’s quite disappointing that an app with such a large user base is this negligent when it comes to user safety. I urge others to be aware of the risks and parents to watch over their children until they can prove they are taking steps to address such serious issues.

    Says NOTHING about having to PAY to interact with people. Complete waste of time, im annoyed that i finally was added by someone just to get blocked out by the app wanting me to pay a monthly subscription.

    You should Remove the see friend request on soda plus because not many have soda plus and can't afford it.This is a friend app where u look for friends an if we can't see the request then what's the point?
