  • absolutely frustrating broken port

Game is amazing but absolutely not ready for iPhone use. I have a 16 Pro and it keeps crashing and crashing, and the save function just freezes and you have to redo large portions of the game because it is broken. All the time. A shame.
  • Best Experience on MacBook!

I’ve played Death Stranding on all platforms, but the MacBook experience stands out the most. The performance is smooth and stable, with stunning graphics thanks to the game’s excellent optimization for Apple Silicon. Power consumption is lower, and heat management is better compared to a regular PC, making the experience more comfortable and enjoyable. Without a doubt, this is the best way to enjoy this masterpiece! and Thanks for adding Arabic subtitles!

This game is poorly optimized on multiple devices and it has a terrible time syncing saves let alone actually saving your game’s progress even after hours of progression. I enjoy this game but DO NOT recommend this game on iOS/Mac, play it elsewhere.

The game is beautiful and plays well especially with my controller but it's really frustrating with all the save issues I'll do something or make a delivery and it just continually will say saving on the screen and never actually save...
  • Save bug happens constantly

I love this game. I’ve completed 6 other versions on other platforms 100%. This version, however, is very frustrating. I constantly run into a bug where it says “Now Saving…” at the bottom corner but never actually completes the save and from that point forward you can’t save so your only choice is to force quit the game which makes you lose all progress since your last save. I’ve already lost multiple hours of progress having to redo sections of the game and I’m not even done with chapter 3 yet.
  • Issue with iCloud saves

When I launch the game it says iCloud Drive needs to be turned on, but it is already on. Please fix so my saves will sync
  • Game Saving Bug Ruins The Fun

Amazing game that I’ve finished multiple times elsewhere, attempting a playthrough on iPhone and it runs well enough but haven’t been playing often or progressing much due to the bug where if the network switches (common on a mobile device) or has any issues, the game can’t reconnect to online services and is then unable to save for some reason, freezing the game completely while attempting to manually save, and breaking autosave so you can be playing for a long while only to lose all of that progress. This bug has existed since the game first dropped for Apple devices. It also existed on the much more recent Xbox release (due to network syncing issues caused by the quick resume feature on that console) until it was very quickly fixed there. So I hope the same fix can be done here so that regardless of online syncing being interrupted, saving won’t be. 505 Games support directly says to simply play in offline mode and isn’t promising a fix but a major component of the game is the strand system working with other players to help reconnect the world together, so that isn’t good enough. 1-star and not recommended until it’s fixed.

It’s hard to explain why I love this game so much. I really look forward to jumping in and seeing what’s next. Sometimes it’s cool just to wander around, getting the lay of the land, while grabbing materials and lost cargo and turning stuff in. Then make some deliveries and then wander some more. What a weird game. I love it!

It’s a game that has a good story, good characters and a good open world. It’s a game that I highly recommend

Death Stranding isn’t just a game — it’s an emotional journey. Its world is breathtaking, and the music touches the soul. The story reconnects you with what it means to be human. One of the most unforgettable experiences I’ve ever had. 💙🎮
