  • Smooth gameplay, solid AI, major bug

    This has been a great game for late night solo play action when everyone else is gone to bed. My matches with the AI have been very tight. I found the gameplay smooth, and the tutorial was very helpful in that I had not played my copy of the cardboard for a couple years. I have to ding it though because it has a bug where and I can’t see the bonus token icon on the four hexagonal tiles in the offer until I drag one into play only then does the little white up arrow appear. That is a nuisance. You want to be able to see the white arrow bonus icon when you’re looking at the tiles, considering choosing one.

    Got this so I can play online but the game crashed several times. For the price I paid I expect it to work. Avoid this app at all costs.

    Somehow, I was timed out and replaced by a bot. No way! That might be the first time that has ever happened to me. Please ensure notifications work from your side! This never should have happened and I'm really annoyed, having put a lot of effort into a game with my buddies, thinking I was in a good position to win and then to find out I'm not in the game anymore! Going to rate your game one star as a result but will be happy to review again if fixed.

    The game itself is great. Unfortunately, the cross device sync doesn’t work. I’m signed in with both Game Center and a Dire Wolf account and progress on my iPad doesn’t show up on my phone.

    Well done on the game! Was considering getting the board game and decided to try the app first, now I'm looking forward to playing it in person with friends or family. The music however, is really bad. I think if the acoustic guitar and percussion is removed, you'd have a perfectly suitable soundtrack. Especially the menu screen music - just expand upon that and keep the sloppy folky acoustic guitar/cajon out of the mix.

    The details they put into each tile and sounds for each animal make this an even more enjoyable play. I enjoy playing solo and with this app it gives me all the challenges found in the box in a more convenient way to play. Fantastic work Dire Wolf! Can’t wait for the Isle of Cats app to drop at the end of the month.
