Description

Tapestry weaves your favorite blogs, social media, and more into a unified and chronological timeline. ⁕ The Web Your Way Tapestry combines posts from your favorite social media services like Bluesky, Mastodon, Tumblr along with others like RSS feeds, podcasts, YouTube channels, and more. All of your content is presented in chronological order, with no algorithm deciding what you should or shouldn't see. ⁕ A Bird's Eye View Tapestry makes it easier than ever to browse content from dozens or even hundreds of sources. Create custom timelines, seamlessly sync your reading position across devices, and keep track of feeds in an easy-to-read, color-coded stream of content. ⁕ Avoid Spoilers. Everywhere. Quickly create powerful rules that control what you do and don't see across all your feeds. Avoid potential spoilers and stay clear of unwanted topics by creating rules that muffle and mute items in everything you follow. ⁕ Powerful Searching Search for topics and terms across all feeds simultaneously. Tapestry makes it easy to find that blog post, YouTube video, or podcast you're looking for - and easy to mark it for later. ⁕ Private By Design Your privacy is a priority. Tapestry works with content stored on your device, so searching and viewing content is completely private. We never sell or share your data with third parties. ⁕ Custom Connectors Expand Tapestry’s potential with third-party connectors. Import custom connectors from trusted developers, or even write your own to add your favorite bit of data to the timeline. If there's an open data feed available, a connector can weave it into Tapestry. Additional Features: • Universal app for iOS, iPadOS and macOS • Quickly open posts in your favorite third party apps to take action • Syncs your reading position via iCloud across devices • Fully accessible using VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, and more • Customize Tapestry's app icon, layout, and fonts • Create custom timelines of your favorite feeds • Mark your favorite items to read later • Light and dark mode support -------- Tapestry uses auto-renewing subscriptions. The subscription provides access to premium features like ad removal, custom timelines, feed customization, and more. The subscription will be charged to your iTunes account at confirmation of purchase. Subscriptions will automatically renew at the end of your subscription period and will be charged through your iTunes account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. You can turn off auto-renewal at any time from your iTunes account settings. • Liquid Glass

Honestly, I know Liquid Glass is controversial in its own right but I’m confused why it’s not even implemented properly? Instead of the tab bar on the bottom, there’s these tiny even MORE difficult to see individual buttons. Just kinda ruins the experience from pre-liquid glass update for me.

I love that I can get my feeds, BSky and Mastodon in one place. I do hope they can support quote posts in Mastodon soon!
  • A better way

If people only understood what they are missing by not utilizing this app… quickly became my favorite news feed.
  • One bothersome flaw

In general, I’m really enjoying Tapestry. As I transition to it from Reeder (the newer version), though, I’m noticing a bothersome flaw. While Reeder drops things into my feed as they come in, even if the actual post date was prior to the last load, Tapestry seems to sort them by post date no matter when they load into my feed - which means that if Tapestry loads something just now that came in an hour ago, and I’m already past that point in the feed, that older post is buried in the past and I never see it. It doesn’t show up as new for me, even though it is. If there is one thing I need in an app like this, it is to be able to trust that I will not miss a post.
  • Preferences not saved

Every time I start the iPad app, it always opens with All Items instead of New Items. This is not an issue on iOS where the preferences are always saved

This app is so unique and wonderful! I no longer have to check multiple social media apps and all my feeds can be seamlessly combined. Love that it has a global mute feature so you can filter out certain keywords across all feeds.
  • Best feed reader+ out there

This app is incredible, and the team that make it are fantastic as well. I am not a power user of this product, so I know I am only scratching the surface of what it can do, but this has filled the gaping hole that Google’s feed reader left when those schmucks canned it.
  • Great App!

I’ve been using Tapestry since it was released, but I didn’t appreciate how great it was until recently. The lightbulb finally lit when I figured out that you can follow specific Mastodon and Bluesky accounts to see posts and replies. You don’t even need to have accounts on those services. I acknowledge that this steers more toward a consumer of rather than a creator to social media, but I’m ok with that. Tapestry allows me to follow what I’m interested in and presents it in a way that I can control. p.s. you can’t go wrong with an app from The Iconfactory.
  • Best Combined Feed App Available!

Like I said in the title, this is THE best combined feed app on the App Store. You get everything from RSS, Mastodon, and Bluesky to Reddit, YouTube, and more! The premium features don’t cost too much either so if you want some more customization, it’s not gonna break the bank. Even without the premium features, you get access to every feature you need to have a good time using the app. Also, if you have a feature request or notice any bugs, contacting them is really easy and they get back to you very quickly! I have nothing bad to say about this app. Download it already!

IOS26 and Liquid Glass has really made great developers look like design school dropouts outs. This new UX is horrid. Buttons are barely visible without a visual anchor. Buttons are all over the screen requiring finger gymnastics and hand switching to do basic tasks. Interfaces like this make it feel unsafe using a thousand dollar device.
