  • Horrible customer service

I had saved over 3,000 coins in this game. One morning I logged on and was suprised to see that I only had 10 left. I reached out to the customer service hotline and they devised a bogus excuse as to why my coins had gone missing and refused to refund them. It is obvious that the creators of this game will rig the results to con you into making in game purchases. DO NOT DOWNLOAD!

Ironic that after ages of seeing fake ads claiming to be a match 3 game, I downloaded this game off another fake ad that was advertising it as a cleaning game and was completely taken aback to learn it was a match 3. Still, it’s my understanding that most game companies outsource their advertisements, so I won’t hold it against them… much. The match three gameplay is pretty standard, classic addictive formula. I really like the way they designed boosters so that you can “fuse” the effects of two of them together. It adds a new layer of strategy and makes even underwhelming powerups like the propeller insanely useful if you combine them with bombs or something else. It IS a little weird that you get powerups based on the shape you form with your match, NOT the number of pieces caught in the match like most games. Not sure how I feel about that. The story is solidly fine. It’s not particularly gripping and most of the jokes fall rather flat, but it’s cute enough to stay entertaining. I like the story of the single dad and the kid, and I like that there’s an actual main character who’s not just a self insert (although there IS a self insert present as well, meaning I’m not actually sure who does all the work in the story). The furniture placing is cute and fun, but some of the time I can’t help but… question the decisions made by the main character. A bookshelf in a green house? Have the developers ever actually BEEN in a greenhouse? Those books would be unusable inside of a month. Small nitpicks aside though, the story is cute enough. Unfortunately the difficulty REALLY needs tweaking. There have been “hard” levels I’ve flown past with no issue, and there have been “normal” levels that stonewalled me for a day or more - and I’m not even halfway through the game! I do wonder to what degree the levels were playtested, and how they came up with the par they did. I actually really respect and commend the developers’ decision not to have any ads, it definitely makes the game feel less cheap and more professional, but the fact that you have to either pay up or be stonewalled by levels leaves a bad taste in my mouth. I wish there were a way to tweak the difficulty level, for those of us who just want to play the design game, but doing so would undercut the micro transactions… it’s an unfortunate spot to be in. Overall a very fun game, but some flaws hold it back from being great. Looking forward to seeing where it goes.

Don’t waste your time! If you bought the game where the man is running around fixing up his mansion or the game where the woman was kicked out and she’s cleaning up the garden. You’ve played this game already. It’s just like one of them stupid games. It also is misleading with their ad They have you walking around cleaning up the vacuuming up or whatever that just cleaning up the environment around your neighborhood. No, that’s not what you’re doing not exactly. You’re basically playing Candy crush to earn coins or stars so you can press thebutton and it automatically renews the whole screen. You may make the choice of out of three options but you’re not doing like the ad you’re playing Candy crush to get the points and then making a selection to beautify that’s it. Nothing spectacular, unique, different, great about this game. Don’t waste your time.

I downloaded the game after watching an advertisement on my iPad. Now I’m uninstalling because the advertisement is not indicative of gameplay. How frustrating. Ignorance is not an excuse. It’s your name and reputation! Do better!!!
  • Too Hard

The game is cute, but the levels all too hard and take numerous attempts to beat, then you end up needing 3-stars for every ONE action, meaning dozens upon DOZENS of levels/attempts just to finish a few tasks.

There needs to be a way to stop the guide. It’s cool to show one time after that it’s pretty self explanatory and annoying.

I was loving the game until this puppy update, now the app opens and doesn’t move from the purple page that says magic tavern… thought the updates were supposed to fix problems not create them… 🥺
