    I use this app daily for years. Do the people that make it ever use it? It’s an awful app. You can’t scroll through stories after reading them, you need to exit and go back into it. Then you have to go find the spot where you left off to read the older articles as it never saves your place. Now they updated it again, I was hoping some of these simple fixes would be corrected but nope. Now the video that I do not want to watch, that has nothing to do with the article I am reading continues to pop up regardless of how many times I exit the unwanted unrelated video. I really like the articles, but this app has been awful for years. My only other gripe is that they need more NHL writers. There is probably 3 new articles a week for the NHL section, yet if patrick maholms so much as goes to a public restroom there is an article with 7 more follow up articles breaking it down. This is NBC! Fix this app! Ugh.

  • Video player is legitimately the worst in any streaming app.

    The video player refuses to play video, even on gigabit internet (700+ mbps via WiFi). Constantly having to close the app and hope for a video feed to load is beyond insane for a company whose only value is in providing video media. Redo the entire video player coding, borrow from Peacock! Holy smokes. Figure it out.

    😡Used to love this app a few years ago when you could actually scroll left and right while viewing articles and move to the next article or the one before. The app was perfect at that time . Ever since they changed that feature, every update of the app just keeps getting less user-friendly. With the latest update I’m in the middle of reading an article and a video just pops up out of nowhere, there’s not even anything that you can accidentally click on, it just pops up! It sucks!! Stop trying to fix things that aren’t broken just for the sake of saying you made an update to justify your job😡

    This was a nice, pleasant app to scroll through articles for current news on all sports. Now, the articles section is a hot mess, difficult to scroll back and forth and generally just a total f-up. of a really nice app. As usual, some donkey screws up what others enjoy. PATHETIC MORONS.

    The latest update removed the back button from articles. That’s either a terrible design flaw or a terrible oversight. It makes for clunky navigation. Speaking of clunky navigation, I remember a while back you used to be able to swipe left or right between articles, rather than having to go back a step to select the next article you wanted to read. Also, you used to be able to scroll continuously to read any article you wanted. Now it’s limited to the most recent 30. This is especially bad for Profootballtalk, because there are many articles posted every day. Some users may be missing news if they can’t continuously scroll to catch up to what they last read. As a software engineer and long time reader, these design flaws are very painful. I am glad MLB and NHL news are back though.

    I don’t understand how this app keeps getting worse. Can only see one headline at a time now, and there’s not even a back button anymore. If you click anything, you need to go back to the homepage then reload the articles if you want to read another story. It’s been years now since this app worked well. Years! It feels like someone is purposely sabotaging things at this point. Soon enough, no one is going to bother using it.

    You must unlink then link your account constantly, if I had ANY other option I would take it, garbage service that knows it has a monopoly…
