Description

The L3Harris Cockpit Familiarization B747-400 application for iPad and iPhone provides pilots with a self-study and awareness tool through an educational cockpit experience. Cockpit Familiarization provides cockpit panel information sourced through officially-licensed aircraft manufacturer and OEM data, ensuring accuracy and clear functional descriptions of each switch, pushbutton, and light/annunciator. This application helps pilots become familiar with panel functionality without referencing bulky aircraft manuals and paper cockpit posters. This helps to reduce study time preparations by consolidating aircraft manual information into an easy-to-use, efficient app that truly familiarizes pilots with a new aircraft flight deck. Features & Benefits: * Officially-licensed aircraft cockpit data at your fingertips – study anywhere, anytime * Pan and zoom capabilities * Cockpit panel location and familiarization * Functional description of each switch, pushbutton, and light/annunciator * High fidelity graphics - same graphics used on L3Harris Flat Panel and Desktop Trainers * Capture and reference user-provided notes * Help Tutorial Intended Use: * Quick study tool – quiz yourself on cockpit switches, lights, and other indications * Familiarize yourself with the overall flight deck and layout of panels and displays * Practice cockpit flow patterns (note: actual flow patterns not provided) Note: The aircraft manufacturer offers differing cockpit configurations, layouts, and/or options to their customers. The graphics and related descriptions used in this application represent a specific configuration and may not exactly correspond to your respective aircraft. When I first purchased the app it worked fine. I found it to be very helpful. Now the app does not work. It does nothing that it is and used to do. Save your money.

Works on my iPad not on my iPhone as advertised. It would be nice if it did since my phone is always with me but do not feel like lugging my iPad around everywhere

Apple should please take down this app. I paid $39.99, hoping to have full information. Unfortunately this app is no longer working. APPLE has the obligation to take it down instead of making innocent customers pay for an empty app!!!

This app simply does not work. I am unable to interact with the program in any way. Paid $40 for a picture of a cockpit. Complete false advertising and highway robbery. No descriptions of anything, only a picture of a cockpit you can zoom in and out on.
  • Old passenger aircraft

App is missing panels, Engine Page shows EPR not just N1. No autostart switch, this is modeled on an older passenger aircraft. Freighter aircraft panels are a lot different in the panel layout and synoptic pages.
  • App needs few tweaks

This will be will a 5 star quality if few things are correct for example not al ; the flight director is cross bars not a vbar. There is missing upper panel. FMS could be more interactive specially with the app price. All in all the app is great as a familiarization with the cockpit.
  • Doesn't worth it at all!

I bought this app thinking it was better than this, it explains just a little bit how each bottom works.
