Skip Tunes

As others have said, recent OS update has caused the app to stop working. Doesn't reconize anything playing and controls do not show up. Very disappointing. Used to use every single day.

When I first got Skip Tunes, the biggest issueit had was merely an annoyance: the artwork bug was pervasive, and didn't feel like I was going to be addressed any time soon. Other than that, the app delivered, it was simple and solid. Well thought user interface and its usefulness allowed me to keep it on my menubar... despite the artwork bug. I hadn't even noticed when it got addressed, but a few months ago I noticed it did get addressed... and kept from writing anyting since I wanted to be sure it was not just sheer luck that the artwork was working as it should've from the very beginning. With the artwork fixed, this app is pure joy to use... even if you don't use the 'set your own' keyboard shortcuts, even if you don't care for the artwork or for anything else other than pause/forward... this app works as it should. So very glad that the artwork bug got fixed. I just migrated to a new macbook and sure enough this was one of the apps I made sure to carry over to my new setup. Thank you so much for keeping it top-notch.

No longer works. Developers seem to have stop responding to users. Guessing this isn't a thing anymore. Sad, because it was amazing.

I am an Apple Music user. This app does NOT work at all. Don't waste money.

This doesn't work in 10.15 but they'll still let you buy it.

It's been quite a few months and despite that their website has said this entire time that they are aware of the problem and working on an update, nothing has come from this. Time to look for an alternative.

For some reason, the app now after downloading from scratch, opens Spotify automatically.
