  • Pay to play garbage

    I redownloaded the game recently because of the nostalgia, and, while I enjoy it, the game is notorious about begging you to hand over your money for their “gems” currency. Even withholding from spending them in the tutorial, you are only left with 15 for a game that requires you to pay up more than that for basic storyline quests. There are no other ways to obtain them outside purchasing gems. I do not recommend downloading this game, it’s just not worth it.

    I used to play this game when I was younger and I decided to redownload it I like it, it’s a lot of fun but at the same time it costs way to many coins to do things and yall need to make it where there is a way to get gems other than buying them like maybe some missions give you gems or do like yall do on fashion story and watch videos for gems because I don’t spend real money on games and I’m not gonna be able to get much further than I am now without gems.

    I love this game and I’m sure with many players that agree. I wish this app had events and was active. Please fix the social Facebook connection there’s a lot of people that use this app. It’s not fair to the people that use the app.

    I loved this game as a kid and decided to redownload it. It’s such a fun game and so cute, but the gems are crazy. There’s no way to get free gems like watch an ad. I like in Bakery Story how you can get gems from baking the same thing over and over again. I wish something similar was in this game. It would also be nice to design the floor and walls.

    This game is fun to play however there are some pretty big issues, whether they are bugs or just issues on the game makers part, I’m not sure. They won’t even let you submit a report to fix them for Pet Shop Story. You can never get a 5 star social rating because everyday the game takes you back to 4 starts. Literally erases progress everyday on the rating. Also if you buy a pet, sometimes it won’t show up on the game. I got the chihuahua and the pen showed up blank, then I bought a mate for it and the next day still only one chihuahua was showing up. On other peoples shops you can sometimes see they’re missing pets too. This game has been on here for far too long to still have these pretty big issues.

    I used to play this game on my Kindle when I was a little kid. It’s all that I remember, but I definitely have some gripes with it. 1) There is essentially no way to earn gems. Paywalling is okay, but not when gems are required for the main storyline. At least make them attainable via watching ads. 2) Too many materials required for crafting some pet pens. As someone who doesn’t have friends, having to wait 15+ days to obtain all building materials for a single pet pens is irritating. 3) “Abandoning” sick animals. Unless you have real money to buy gems, you cannot remedy sick baby animals from the breeding stations (which happens if you don’t check in on time,,, maybe a couple hours after the breeding session is finished). This is just disgusting and sends a dark and disturbing message, especially to young players. 4) Incessant pushing of other Storm 8 games. There’s a 50/50 chance of me accidentally pressing a random pop-up ad that sends me to the app store upon loading up the game. It’s extremely irritating and deterrent from Storm 8 games. I hope the devs come back one day to fix these glaring issues.
