I’m recovering from BED and this app is changing my life. It’s easy to use and everything makes sense. I love that I’m able to log three meals and three snacks, which makes me feel like I’m eating a normal amount of food. I wholeheartedly endorse this app.

I just started using this app but it is the first time I’ve felt hopeful about being able to heal my relationship with food.

This app has been useful for me to document habits around food, as well as associated feelings. The absence of calorie counts and emphasis on habits and feelings associated with food help me to evaluate my food choices with care, kindness, and accountability for alignment with my dietary needs. The affirmations are delightful.

I’ve struggled with my eating disorder since I was 13. Even when I felt like I had moved on from the problem during a crisis, I’d always revert To my bad eating patterns. This app is very helpful and keeps me mindful and helps me forgive myself and give myself grace when I feel like I failed. If you’re dealing with any eating problem, I highly suggest trying this app.
  • Best App I’ve Tried

I’ve been using recovery record for a couple of weeks to help me break/change my habits and compulsions around food that I developed during childhood trauma. I’ve been through quite a bit of therapy and feel more mentally free than ever! BUT I still have the pathways and patterns and habits to eat compulsively. I’ve been searching for a year for a method or pro who can help. This is the first thing I’ve tried that has really worked and I think it’s because it uses DBT principles and methods, which matches part of how I healed in therapy. It’s a kind accountability and gives me hope that I can eat without compulsion in the future. Will update when I’ve used longer.

I’m anorexic. I have been for about a year now. I never took into consideration that there was a problem with how little I ate; I thought what I was doing was perfectly normal. When my dietitian first recommended this app, I thought it was the end of the world. It was such a hassle to log every meal and take pictures and write about my feelings and put down every detail of every thing bla bla bla. But soon I realized that my plates looked like ones that would be fed to a toddler. Maybe even a newborn baby😭😭 So I started to change. Slowly. Really slowly. Insanely slowly… but it was so worth it. I am much better now, and this app has helped me so much. It’s such an easy way for your dietitian to see what you’re eating and help you overcome what you’re struggling with. Even if you don’t have a dietitian or anyone doctor-like that is working with you, this app is a real eye opener. I definitely think this app will be good for anyone with an ed, and highly encourage those people to get it. Thank you for reading this, and stay strong. You can do it🫶💪

This app is good. It has a lot of good features and definitely helps with recovery from an eating disorder. There are some bugs where you cannot play the rewards songs but it’s easy to take a screenshot of it and look it up on YouTube. Another bug is that sometimes the wallpaper will go black. The wallpaper with different pictures is a nice pleasant thing to look at and makes using the app more Enjoyable so it’s frustrating when the wallpaper goes black and the only way to fix it is to delete the app and reinstall it. Overall, it’s a good app though and definitely very helpful. I like how they help you get in touch with your emotions after eating I like how it lets you use Photos to track your food. I like how it helps you get in touch with your clinician.

Seems like a good app but still learning how to use it. If there were a tutorial to visit and learn from, I’m sure I’d be able to better appreciate it.
