  • Reading the Citizen.

It’s frustrating not to see local high school sports on the sports page. EVERY day there is an article regarding The Bills. I also do not like the reading format. It is not like reading a physical newspaper.

This app is garbage. Unreliable and constantly freezes up. Not to mention the price for lazy stories.

Please tell me that’s a joke. NYTimes isn’t even that much… not worth it at all shouldn’t even have to pay anything for it.

I deleted this app. We now have to make an account to view. Why? I am done with user names and passwords! I deleted the app.

The updates have ruined what was once a nice app. I’ve simply deleted the app and moved on because it doesn’t work anymore. I wonder if the advertisers are aware of this?

The app totally is worthless. Any time I want to read an article I get: Your request cannot be processed at this time. No content available. Has not been working for a while now. Uninstalled and will use the web based option.
  • Ads bring this down

Opening a written news article and then being forced to watch an ad before reading said article is ridiculous. It’s not like other news apps that shows ad before a video which is fine.
  • Generally awful

This app constantly opens ads in safari, and it also opens the App Store trying to get you to download garbage. It only shows 10 or so recent news stories. It won't let me comment on any articles- some kind of error. App is borderline unusable. Update: 10 months later and the app still constantly opens the App Store, but now it has pop ups too. Lee Enterprises are you paying attention? This app is pathetic.

This app has been taken over by ads. It's hard to even read the stories without being diverted to either the web browser of app store. Please fix!!!

I really enjoyed this app until recently, when you people started having ads that popped in randomly in the middle of reading an article. When you close or back out of the ad, it immediately opens it again and you have to go through the process at least once more. Utter crap.
