SMART has not updated the app since 2013 and it shows. The app explodes on iOS8 when connecting to the server. SMART is clearly not committed to this application. Get with it SMART!

I work in a school district where we have SMART Boards in almost every classroom. We have also used the Bridgit app to mirror the teacher’s screen to iPads for students with visual impairments. This has been vital in creating access for our visually impaired population. NOW the app stopped working on iOS devices that are running iOS 7 or newer. SMART acknowledged this is a compatibility issue and that the app hasn’t been updated in over a year and that there are no plans of updating in the future. BUMMER

Nope, it does not connect seamlessly to your SmartBoard. This is videoconferencing software only. If you cannot connect to a meeting with a shared device, then your SmartBoard will collect dust. What I was looking for was an app to interface using an HDMI-cabled connection to my new $15,000 SmartBoard. Guess I'll have to haul the laptop in after all. You guys at Smart Technologies need to get crackin' on what I need here!

This is a great app and it works flawlessly. Fantastic way to collaborate from anywhere. I just tried using this with SMART's great Notebook and Meeting Pro Premium software. Worked amazingly. It worked perfectly to make additions and corrections to an Excel spreadsheet on my coworker's computer Amazing way to collaborate remotely with or without SMART's great white boarding software. So impressed! Being a part of a meeting from my iPad no matter where I am or just helping a friend resolve a computer issue is now a breeze! Thanks, SMART!

This app does just what I expected it to. Make sure you know that you need to have a meeting to join or have access to a Bridgit service to create a meeting. I cannot wait to try this is a classroom. I'll give an update once I do. I can see how this will be very powerful addition to the already great Bridgit Collaboration software. The only thing that it does that I don't like is it loses the connection when changing apps. Fast switching without losing the connection would be nice, so I could switch to my email really quick and then come back without having to rejoin the meeting. It does find the server very quickly when I open the app so it's not THAT big of a deal. Great job! Very excited about how this will help my conference calls and in the classroom.
