  • Used to be a great app, until they got greedy

    This used to be my editing app of all times, until they heavily leaning into the AI effects and the advertisements for the free version started to surpass 1 minute in length, for EACH photo you have edited. Recently, they even started forcing you to watch a 30-second ad before you can get to the menu to select the photos you want to edit. I’m ok with supporting the developers with watching some ads but this is WAY TOO GREEDY. Don’t bother, there are less greedy apps out there.

    1. Every time I need to wait half a minute after turning on airplane mode so a “new AI beauty enhancement” recommendation doesn’t lock my screen up with a fake unclickable X button. Same thing with what’s “hot” like Live Photos, when im working on a video—an entire 10 minute video I don’t need you to secretly switch the save resolution tab to Live Photo just because it’s marked with “hot” and take up an hour of my time. 2. I saw one of your other apps named Beauty cam that used to be so great and creative even as most the content was VIP, you changed the entire name and purpose to Ai too, did the same with this app’s name too before. You guys are not AI, the tools and technology in the video editing tab I’ve always loved is working in almost max efficiency without it. No more AI generated stuff, please act like your hard work from decades is still worthy of being in App Store. 3. And while you are busy at cheap impressions with the AI thing, cropped overlays risk a 50% chance to glitch positions every single video save. Whenever you press the X in editing, all previous stickers permanently change sizes with no undo and no warning. 4. All cutouts from green screens the lasso tool marker has a 98% chance of randomizing its place every single go you use it, I was only able to trick this app after memorizing the shape of my photo 30 times. 5. Keyframes are too slow, broad, and laggy to work with, I add more than 10 in an overlay, it’s deleted without notice after saving, nope you cannot redeem it in editing, they also deactivate the undo button. 6. This was my favorite editing app until 2024 where I found Alight Motion, now if you wanna successfully add a video editing feature I suggest putting more effort in the effects, and maybe not increase the ViP production by 30% every single stock. 7. I remember when I was 9, I spent an entire week on a project so hard I almost needed glasses. My iPad storage was less than half full, and I made sure not to delete anything. Nope, “original has been deleted, draft damaged” only one button “delete draft!” It’s even worse now, you give the option to try redeeming stuff that never got deleted in the albums but no matter what you do—even hitting the “replace” button and using the SAME MEDIA no. 8. Then you put “no more than 25 stickers” in the photo editing tab when I worked my smoothest with around 75 in entire 5 minute videos.

    I am a new user and just started using this app and a promotion popped up saying we could get a 7 day free trial on the svip service before opting in for the paid plan. Guess what? Once you agreed to start the 7-day free trial you WILL IMMEDIATELY be charged $97 for the annual plan!!! What??? What’s the point of the 7-day free trial then?? Now this app just feels so shady to trick users like this.. I want my money back!

    I am incredibly impressed with this app. As a long-time user, I never leave reviews, but this one deserves recognition. The free and accessible options are outstanding, even with a subscription it has great options for free. a hard and rare find among other editing apps. Their marketing approach is excellent. By allowing users to explore the app's capabilities without upfront costs for EVERYTHING or limited features, they foster trust, which ultimately drives subscription purchases. The quality and dedication of the creators have truly won me over, and I plan to invest in a subscription when i get the monyuns💸 (broke college student) but its definitely worth it. luv this app.

    I downloaded this app I got the subscription vip version I was using the ai flash function n a notification popped up saying I had to pay extra money if I wanted to keep using it. I thought the subscription would cover all the cost I can’t pay extra

    So imagine you are me getting this app for the first time, and you already have experience with editing things, people, ect, and when you get the app and you try to use the glow up, it looked like a baby did it and it was their first time, well why not try to delete the background people, and things, not as bad but still not too good, I showed my friend this and she instantly knew that it was fake, so I tried to do it with other apps, more pro apps, even better then this, and I tried the others, still bad, and I tried other apps, more pro apps, and instantly so much better, so please, if you want to go pro, do not use this app, my friends little brother could tell the difference and he’s 5. So please fix it if you can.
