  • Good app

This is one of the easiest far/aim apps I have found. Easy to navigate, book mark and highlight. One thing I wish it did was sync between my phone and IPad.
  • Would go without it, but search could be better

The gov loves their rules so best to have a copy, the best digital FAR/AIM I have found, it’s nice how things are easily separated and it’s very fast to scroll, the search can be a little wonky though
  • Bookmark soup, highlight bugs

Offers limited bookmarking and highlighting. Highlights can only be yellow, they move randomly over time, mark-ups not possible, premade categories of FARs by rating are incorrect, and bookmarks go into a flat list that cannot be organized or grouped.
  • For Pilots studying

Do not wast your money on these apps, I have purchased 3 and all their search functions are useless, the rudimentary search features will only provide exact matches at best and 9/10 times will not give you a revenant result. I have found it cheaper and better to download the AIM in PDF form from faa.gov and download the FAR in PDF form from govinfo.gov (you have to download all 5 volumes of Title 14 separately). Then upload them to a PDF viewer app such as goodnotes or Adobe (I like gooodnotes). The PDF viewer provides a much better search function and even ai assisted searches. I also keep my checklists and POH in goodnotes, you can use the apple pencil to check off items as you go. Hope this helps others pass their check rides.
  • Used to be a great app

I used to love this app and recommended it everyone that was debating between this and the book. But now, I lost my highlights, and some of my bookmarks don’t even work.
  • Needs work

Some regs out of date, highlights move on their own.
  • Duplicate Regs

All the regs are now duplicated and it makes it very difficult searching through them
  • Duplicate entries

I have a iPhone 13 and each regulator section is duplicated. You open Part 91 and there is all the sub parts written twice. Search function could be a lot better too.
  • Update made my highlights in the aim disappear

I recommend this app to all of my students. I dislike the new update. Harder to read, and the formatting is awkward.
