    Won’t let me add my hotel information for a trip even though I’m connected to wifi. Doesn’t provide me with live flight updates. Tripcase was so much better.

    Have used for many years without problems. But now…Can’t sign in - internal server error. Can’t add trip segments manually - “not connected to the internet” when actually connected. Needs language support in languages other than English.

  • App forces you into random time zones and you can’t edit them.

    My itinerary was constantly split by the app deciding random time zones so nothing ended up being sequential or in order. There’s no option on the phone to edit said time zones.

    Unless this platform updates its intelligence it’s over for me. I’ve use this platform for over five years and previously loved it. It was simple mining my email for upcoming travel plans or I could simply forward the travel plan and nobody inserted into a trip. Now it inconsistently reads my email and when I do forward it to plans at Tripit can’t even read it and always files. It tells me there was a problem with my sub submission. Even when it’s obviously part of the trip in the same city during the same date, the AI assistant it uses will ask me what trip I should add this to once I go in and try to manually add it. I’ve been on the pro version for years and I pay a lot of money for this and used to love it, but with the fast moving intelligence of other apps, this is now become an annoying burden. I might as well just add my own plans to a dumb app. That’s essentially what I’m doing. Hopefully they’re planning an urgent update on there intelligence features but if they’re not, I can’t believe I’ve been paying for this.

  • Incorrectly captures dates and unable to edit

    Forwarded my booked reservation and TripIt captured the dates wrong. Reservation is for 9/1/2026 through 9/7/2026 and TripIt captured it as January 9, 2026 to July 1, 2026. And it won’t allow me to edit… Making this application useless!

    I have been using trip for over 10 years. It has never failed me over millions of miles of travel both domestic and international. There have been other apps that my companies have suggested we use, but this is clearly the best for me.

    I love the fact that the app can always scan my email and help me keep track of my flights and accommodations. For anyone that likes a simple itinerary app, TripIt is a must.
