  • Love wattpad but don’t like not being able to access my reading lists easily.

    I love Wattpad I love reading and all stories. Only thing I don’t like is that I can sometimes access my reading list from the library, but most times I cannot when I used to be able to. Is that a new update? Because frankly, I don’t like it I would give wattpad five stars, I don’t even really mind the ads everything has ads I’m only really upset about not being able to get to my reading list from the library. Currently, I have to go to my account. And then scroll to my reading lists. It’s quite annoying, but overall I love Wattpad. I recommend it to everyone who likes to read. Five stars for the content and being able to read what I want. but I give it three because I cannot access my reading list from the library.

    It literally will not let me even put in a password for an account I literally just made!!! I tried working with the support team and it didn’t help in the slightest. I’m genuinely disappointed as I was looking forward to writing on here but oh well. I genuinely don’t recommend it if there’s gonna be such a difficult time with just setting up an account in general

    the app keeps crashing for me and it won’t let me read or write. when i click on the book it won’t open. i tried to go on authors pages to see if it would work but still no.

    While I’m glad that reporting spam/bot accounts having 18+ sus links are taken seriously and immediately banned… I wish to rediscover deleted lost content but the internet archives or seemingly no one has saved them… Unfortunately the app and site are excluded from the Wayback Machine… So I’m limiting my activity on the accursed app… I honestly wish to block more than just 10 tags because I want to avoid content that makes me annoyed or uncomfortable such as out of character bashing, clickbait-ish covers that lie such as putting a cute wholesome pic but it turns out to be dark all along or in some parts, and even people not giving trigger warnings of said content at the beginning of the chapter or story. It’s also because several writers use different acronyms and terms for each series. I want to avoid those particular terms of said series. If I really don’t like something, I should be blocking more than 10! Also, there should be “*insert # of* new part(s)” going away in 1 week instead of 2 weeks because the latter puts many readers on the edge of their seats.

    For some reason the app keeps crashing everytime i try to use it, I literally can’t do anything on it. It’s been happening since last night, I was using the app earlier yesterday and it was perfectly fine.

    I love this app all the way! Update I have had this app since 4th grade... I watch the 3 skip ads and it always pops up with a " sorry if this inconvenience keeps happening contact support" and then I have to watch an ad all over again. Get it together Wattpad. I shouldn't have to watch 8 ads and it still says the same thing. Then inconvenience me but closing the app out and getting back into it just to do it all over again.

    Overall the app is a great place to read and write creative stories. However I have noticed that a faint sound can be heard when using the app. I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app a few times but it still makes that sound whenever I use the app. And because of this most recent update the layout of the app has changed quite a bit which is so confusing to navigate. If possible please change it back to what the original layout was before this most recent update when the app needs to be updated again. Because that sound is very annoying and distracting from the experience of the app along with the layout being all over the place as well. Thank you.

    Used to be great when I used it years ago so I redownloaded it and they keep giving me ads between short chapters which was annoying enough for me to delete it again. One star.
