    Only thing that could make it better is that whenever I want to share my workout, the other person has to get an account. Also, it pops up the same message every time I open it

    I appreciate being able to account for nontraditional exercises like cleaning and yardwork. Also being able to add exercises after the fact is helpful as well. i’m using the free version and it has been very helpful.
  • Problem Fixed - Great app with iWatch

    Outside fixed the bug and provided excellent results. The issue was: iWatch app is buggy when starting a workout. You have to start it several times to get it to start and sometimes it starts with the wrong workout. I looked on support and did not find any fix or a place to submit a problem. I have a iWatch Ultra 2 running the latest watch iOS version 11.5

    I downloaded this app for a class, but it is also great to be able to share my activity with friends or family who might not have an Apple Watch to help keep me accountable. Other than the ads to pay for it, great app to help keep things organized.

    Please support sending workout route info and workout pause info to the Apple Health app. That way, if I worked out for one hour, but took a break for two hours, Apple Health would read it as one hour instead of three. Apple Watch does that and third-party apps can, too. And on Apple Watch please send swimming strokes to Health. Also, I just wanted to let you know that the What’s New section in the app details page for this app has been mentioning that this update, the one that goes with the update version, goes with a significant rebranding to Outside. The thing is, that’s already been introduced in an earlier update, not the most recent update.

    The app does not sync well with Apple Health or other apps. The customer support is poor. I do not recommend.

    I work for a company that has a lot of work sites all over the USA. Each site does numerous challenges and ask all sites to join. All sites don’t use the same program for recording workouts but they ALL link to UA’s Map My Fitness! Good app to have!

    Update 3/30/25: I have ended up good with this app and its interface. I do wish they would make it possible to complete a workout with apple watch that would then sync to MMF, like strava. I like MMF better than strava, but want to switch for that reason. Old review: I have had this app since it was new and even used the website before the smartphone/app days began. I also have had several others, including Runkeeper, strava, and endomondo. I always used endomondo. I liked its interface, I liked its sharing options, I liked its statistics, and I liked live tracking. It was my favorite and anytime I tried something different for a time, I always came back to it. I really wish this app was more like endo. It was just better. I hope it improves.
