  • Almost perfect metronome!

I love the visuals, the iPod-like knob to set the tempo, and how you can set the metronome by tapping a beat, etc.! The app would be perfect if: 1) The tempo knob had haptic clicks; 2) The # of taps to set the tempo reflected the time signature, e.g. only needing to tap three times for a 3/4 time signature, rather than always having to tap four times; 3) Please consider allowing us to tap on the time signature sliders to set a number, and 4) Allow us to tap anywhere outside the Time Signature/Subdivision/Accent window to close it, rather than just the “X”, e.g. the time signature or window.

i play electric guitar and violin, this app is designed SO WELL. just the design of the app alone immediately made me buy it- i also love the customization thats available regarding the tone of the metronome too! being able to "tap" the speed i want is also SO useful too. the amount of subdivision options there are is like floating in heaven, too! i can tell the app was made by genuinely experienced musicians, and everything i need is there!! the only thing i'd really suggest is being able to change the color of the app, honestly. u'd love to have this app in red :) for $20 to unlock all the features, i think its definitely worth it! great buy!

I play the violin and I needed a steady beat and this gave me just that without any interruptions or any extra ads.

Can somebody please explain to me why a metronome app has a monthly cost? I really don’t understand it. It’s a very simple tool and I really can’t think of a reason other than “more profits.” Are the developement costs really that high?? Why on earth should I pay hundreds of dollars for a good app to use for a few years?
  • Weird Default Tone

App is well designed & easy to use, but the default tone is very low and bassy — impossible to hear over your instrument. If you want to change the tone, you have to pay. I would definitely pay a one-time fee to upgrade but I’m not paying a subscription for a “metronome as a service” lol Update: Thx to the dev for the reply. Downloaded the app again & going to give it another try.
