Description

Pine is an interactive and emotional short story told wordlessly through hand-drawn animation and music, designed to be played in a single sitting. It follows the story of a woodworker grieving the recent passing of his wife. Now alone in the glade where they made their home, he attempts to move on. His simple daily chores of tending to his garden or collecting wood for the next winter are interrupted by memories of the happy times they spent together. Desperate not to forget her, the woodworker captures these memories in beautiful carvings out of the wood he collects. Pine is a story-driven game focused on accessible, engaging interactions that pull you into the woodworker’s experience. Charming puzzles and mini-games celebrate the happy memories of their time together while deliberate chores underscore his challenges with moving on. KEY FEATURES The Insistence of Memory - As you help the woodworker complete his daily routine, the simple chores you’ll guide him through are interrupted by reminders of his late wife. In these endearing memories you’ll relive their happiest moments together, playing games and building a life with each other. Meticulous Mementoes - The woodworker’s carvings are beloved mementos he captures from his memories. Pine’s unique carving mechanic lets you create the carvings with the woodworker’s hands, each a promise that his lost love will be remembered. A Wordless Short Story - Pine is a wordless story, relying on its visuals and sounds to bring you into the woodworker’s world. It is a single-serving game focused on telling a beautiful, emotional tale. Lovingly Crafted - Classic hand-drawn animation, a beautiful setting, an evocative score and immersive environmental sound effects bring Pine’s story to life.

I just played the demo but this is such a beautiful game, I almost cried. I wonder how she passed away.
  • Good, but not worth the price

Its not bad, its very artistic and authentic but lower the full game price. Pretty Expensive for what you going to do in the whole story, its more of watching than playing.
  • Cute but…

Okay this is so sad and I see the point but 1 it’s SO slow moving, 2 same thing everyday, and 3 I can’t get past the point where you plant the plants!

I love this game so much. The only thing I don’t like it that you have to pay like $6 for the full game. But this game as a lot of emotions and meanings to it. I would give this game a 5 outta 5.
  • I thought it was a full game

When I downloaded this game, I was expecting a full game, but I got a demo. A demo? Really? Btw I am just a 11 year old writing this review, but please listen to me. This is a beautiful game, but it is asking me to pay for the full game, when the app was free, and I thought the game was free, but only the demo is free. I hope this review can help you decide if you are going to download this game. I do not recommend if you don’t want to pay for the full game.

Absolutely master peace it’s not a action game or a crazy fun game.its a calm game with a great storyline and a beautiful environment and you have tasks and each time you do a task you remember that’s all I will say great game tho.

I'm a widower so this is a good one for me but I'd be able to give it five stars if it had controller support.

The story line was amazing but it would be better if we had more interactions
