    It’s funny that all the developers responses say that the gem system was just another way to purchase stories, yet some of the old stories I read years ago now are locked behind gems… they even introduced a new subscription to better fit the money grubbing ways. For $5 more( org. - $4.99 to now $9.99 ) the subscription now adds 125 gems every month! And that’s about 20 episodes? At least the prices don’t differ in the gem store, but who know for how long since they seem eager to find more ways to charge more money. 100% do not recommend, I calculated $60 for on singular story( one book )with gems. And I could buy I nice hardcover for that price or even a series. I didn’t even finish my stories before I canceled my subscription, I will finish them but I refuse to finish them here.

    only has korean manhwa (novels??) and dont have a big collection of them. it doesnt even have omniscient reader smh.

    I’m not sure whose decision it was to start using this whole gem system. It was a very bad decision to do this. The whole point will come to this app unlike the other ones was that we can actually binge read tons of comics without having to pay extra or to buy gems or crystals just to read a comic or novel now you’ve decided to go ahead and not only charge us for our regular subscription, but have the nerve to charge us for gems to these comics that were once unlimited. This is crazy. You guys are gonna have a whole lot of people unsubscribe because of someone stupid decision to make this like any other apps especially with these websites that we can really read all these comics for free. That’s the crazy part to me. You guys are gonna loose a lot of people behind this! LISTEN TO YOUR AUDIENCE!!! We are all saying the same thing here.

    Loved this app since it gave me comics I could read without paying for a chapter and I didn’t mind the subscription since I could read any comic but now what’s the point. They made the wrong move with this new gem items they are adding and I read the reviews and the comments they make back saying we will let our team know is all bull at the end of the day I can see all comics will need gems and this would just be an app I end up deleting.

    I’ve had a monthly subscription since 2021. You guys already know how strong your fan base is. I don’t know why you did this, besides money. there’s no way you’re not making money off of this app. I am not part of the development team. I know nothing about the behind-the-scenes of this, but I do know how much a monthly and a yearly subscription is and I absolutely understand how much this gem stuff is going to add to your month to month revenue. Insane that you would do this to yourselves. Once all my currents are done I will be canceling my subscription. We had a good run y’all. Ggs

    This was a great subscription until the gems came along. I even upgraded to the new sub, but still had to purchase more gems if I wanted to finish a series.

  • Used to be my favorite app to read manga

    After having the app for a year and paying the unlimited membership fee, everything was great. But they later added the need to use gems on certain series. Mostly on anything new that’s been introduced, and then re running manga’s that they had discontinued and removed then relaunched as also needing gems to be purchased to read. When they offer a membership that gets around needing to buy gems, I’ll be back but until then. Adios. Hope they drop an email to me if that happens.

    I love love this app have been using it for a while now and loved it. It was a subscription and was able to read as many stories but now they have the Gems to read and i hate this feature they become like the other apps i am very sad :(

    I am going to be finishing the comics I am ready and unsubscribing. You pay monthly and there is hardly any comics to read now that they have the gem structure. They have these different plans now but it is still not worth it!

    I have had my subscription for years and I used to be able to read way more for the price. Now all the new stories added are all gem stories. And I only used this app because I don’t have to pay to read by chapter. Also the piece of gems wouldn’t make it worth it to start reading the gem stories.
