Here's what our members say: “I love the way it explains why the answer is right and why the other answers are wrong. Provides you with everything you need to be able to make educated assumptions on questions you get stumped on. Passed NREMT first try, and got an A in my EMT class.” “The test questions are extremely comparable to the real deal." “The Question of the Day and the Quick 10-question quizzes made it easy to learn even when I was busy. It gives good explanations and feedback. Highly recommended!” "I used this app to study for both my EMT Basic and my AEMT NREMT exams and passed both first try! The way Pocket Prep structured the questions was a lot similar to the NREMT exam. Honestly, I recommend buying the subscription. 10/10 app!" "I passed my NREMT easily in 70 questions and this was the only app I used to study! Highly recommend this app to anyone that is studying for their NREMT exam." --- LEGAL For more information on our Terms of Use and Privacy Policy, please visit the following websites: https://www.pocketprep.com/terms-of-service/ https://www.pocketprep.com/privacy-policy/

Great features, reasonable price, large number of questions (I only got through 2/3). My only advice would be that either many questions feel similar or the app automatically repeats previously flagged or answered questions. If the latter is the case, it might be good to be able to turn that on/off in settings. I also think it would be really helpful to see a glossary of terms (the ones highlighted/in answer explanations) compiled, rather than having to try and search for a specific question to review something. Overall a stellar app and one I would use again. Thanks for helping me pass!

Leave it to this app to ask you if cool and clammy skin is common in cardiogenic shock or hypoglycemia. I know it’s not to be taken seriously like a test but how can I build confidence when I’m getting asked a common sign of two symptoms and asked to pick which one it matched? It matches both… I’m sure questions like this leave providers confused and scared to answer a question confidently on the nremt that has a clear answer.

I am experienced street paramedic and flight nurse, and I teach a critical care transport class for the local university. That being said, I am also an idiot because I let my medic license lapse (for the second time). I bought the app because I have to retake the national exam, and guys from my department said this app is a good one to prepare for it. I have found so many errors in this test bank that it scares me because I don’t know if the test writers of this bank are idiots or just using really old text books to write the questions, and if the national exam is also based on erroneous data like this bank or is it based on evidence based practice. For example, I just missed a question that said I should give methylprednisone to a patient with a suspected spinal cord injury. The practice of administering steroids for spinal cord injuries was debunked years ago and is no longer a recommended treatment. If the national exam is basing its test bank on the same erroneous data that this test bank is using, then it’s probably a great resource to prepare for the test. I pray that that is not the case.

I recently passed my national medic and 99% of what I did was practice questions from this app. This app has everything. It makes practice exams, it has the new question formats and more. It also separates and gives you ratings on each section to tell you your weakest and strongest subjects. And it has other national exams like FF1. 10/10. I recommend this app to everyone that has an exam coming up.

  • Not a bad tool but

Some answers are inaccurate, rationales don’t match answers, minor typos. I want to use this tool but errors like this make me question its accuracy entirely. Specifically for the FP-C. It also hallucinates it annotations, stating text book page numbers or editions that don’t exist.
  • Probably the only reason i passed

I didn’t really use the free version but the premium is so worth it. I was studying for the Emt exam. It helps you retain stuff so well and with over 1000 questions you’re set to be proficient in everything you need. The different test types are so nice and the mock tests are perfect to gauge where you’re at while studying. I also love how customizable everything is. Great app!
