  • Too many distractions in chat

    Why fix what’s not broken? 2026 now you can barely see what’s in the chat of the room that you’re in because you’re being invited to 100 other rooms and to add people you have no connections with. while this is necessary to network and grow the platform, if I’m a room, it’s because I value what they’re speaking on, I don’t need to be unable to access the information they’re sharing because other rooms are being marketed to me. It’s so distracting and annoying.

    the new update has all sorts of ads popping up in the room chats to the point where you can’t even see the comments of your fellow roommates… it’s really bad and wholly unnecessary. not sure what the thought process was behind this.

    This app has went DOWNHILL SO MUCH, it used to be fun but now it has became very dangerous for innocent people kids over arguments within adults. My child was posted as someone’s ptr by a user that said they were going to get her harmed & killed.. Such a coincidence 3 days later my child was bullied & sexually assaulted at school by the user who posted my child’s picture family members. I reported over 20 times to clubhouse for the photo to be removed & NOTHING WAS DONE!!! Her picture is STILL posted on the user ptr which is very humiliating for my family! So if u want to keep ur loved ones safe DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS APP ITS DANGEROUS & THE OWNER DOESNT CARE ANYTHING ABOUT IT!!!!

    The in-room chat now shows random updates from across the app, including new people who have joined the app, new rooms I may want to join (despite the fact that I’m already in a room) and a bunch of random spam that makes it hard to follow the chat in the room. I don’t know whose brilliant idea this was but it’s the equivalent of turning a private whatsapp group into a massive news channel. Nobody asked for this. At least make a way for us to turn this actually terrible feature off. And next time, consider doing user research before launching features that dramatically deteriorate user experience.

    Clubhouse is an absolute disaster of an app. What was once a decent platform has turned into a toxic, unsafe mess. The amount of blatant disrespect, harassment, and cruelty is shocking. People are being outed without consent, stalked, and threatened, and Clubhouse does nothing no real moderation, no protection, no accountability. It’s disturbing that an app would allow this kind of behavior to continue unchecked. This platform feels unsafe and negligent, and no one should have to deal with this. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this app.

  • This App Has Potential for Improvement

    this app does need some versatility to it. Where you can you add different features to it. For example; lock room features, people can lock their room & only allow certain individuals to join in the room, next would be adding a feature where we could turn on our cameras while being actively in the room. We can turn them on and off. Third, screen share feature. It would be nice to screen share things with our friends while being in the room with each other. Fourth, BRING BACK MEET PEOPLE ROOM
