    When BIG CORPORATE COMPANIES require a personal private information like your phone number (amongst other information) they are selling your information. That means you’re 10 steps closer to getting your banking information and SOCIAL SECURITY information hacked. It’s never free. Also, many companies that are still successful to this day didn’t require private and personal information to “protect” your information or create a profile.

  • Verify ID with an untrusted 3rd party? Sorry - I’m done with CH after over 4 years

    Yesterday afternoon, when I opened my app to join in a CH conversation, I landed on a screen “requiring age verification” after over 4 years actively using the app. I don’t trust the 3rd party biometric company and now I can’t get past that verification page. Nice going, CH. my state is NOT enforcing age verification at this time yet because of your new policy, I can no longer participate in my communities formed through your app. It was nice while it lasted (and it lasted longer than I imagined). Fortunately the people I want to remain connected with are now part of my own social network. I will miss some of the conversations for sure.

    Subject: Issue with Irrelevant Notifications in Clubhouse Hello Clubhouse Support Team, I’m writing to report an issue with notifications in the app. Despite configuring my settings to only receive updates from people I follow, I’m still getting frequent notifications from clubs and users I am not following and have never interacted with. These notifications appear to ignore my preferences and make the experience quite distracting. I would like to receive notifications only from: • people I follow, • friends, • and rooms that include users I’m connected with. Please look into this issue. It seems that the notification system is currently pushing updates from unrelated clubs and random users, which should not be happening based on my settings. Thank you in advance for checking and fixing this problem.

    Why is the app asking for consent but when we don’t wanna give consent we can’t decline? The app is now asking for permission to access our camera and wants us to take a facial picture for some dumb reason. Go back to the way is was. We now the lies about not sharing our information cuz they all share it..
