Description

I built Weathergraph to be the weather app I always wanted — clear visual forecasts, professional-grade data, and zero tracking. Weathergraph is a paid app because forecast APIs aren’t free, and I work daily to keep it the most useful visual weather app out there. Start with a 7-day free trial. Continue with an annual membership that supports ongoing development and premium weather data — or unlock lifetime Pro with a single one-time purchase. WHY OUTDOOR ENTHUSIASTS LOVE WEATHERGRAPH • Up to 7 days of hour-by-hour data in a single glanceable chart — temperature curves, rain bars, wind, clouds, sunshine ... all in one timeline • Widgets with real graphs for Apple Watch, iPhone, iPad, and Mac • Know exactly when rain starts: “Light rain 2:30–3:15 PM,” powered by Rainbow.ai radar + ML. Perfect for runners, cyclists or ski trips. • Rain alerts up to 60 min ahead. Plan your workout, hike, or fishing trip with confidence. • Built for kite surfing and sailing enthusiasts: wind speed + gusts, direction, pressure trends, UV peaks, heat index • Works offline — your forecast stays cached for 24h, and keeps working even in mountains or travels • Privacy-first design — no accounts, no ads, no tracking, no data sharing SEE YOUR WEATHER AT A GLANCE Weathergraph turns raw weather numbers into a visual narrative: • Temperature as a smooth gradient line — instantly spot the warmest hour for your bike ride • Rain & snow as blue bars — taller bars = heavier precipitation • Sunshine breaks shown with actual sun-rays between clouds, highlighting the best time for outdoor activities • Wind visualization with gusts and direction arrows • UV index graph — know when to apply sunscreen (hint: above 3) • Barometer trends to understand pressure-driven changes • Background color changes with the sky from dawn blue to sunset orange • Today's highs and lows marked directly in the chart • Sunrise/sunset times with twilight shading APPLE WATCH APP DONE RIGHT • The only weather app with full hourly graphs on your watch face • Rich complications for every weather metric you care about • Caches your forecast for 24 hours — even when you’re offline on a mountain ridge WIDGETS THAT ACTUALLY HELP • Large widget shows nowcast and hourly charts plus up to week of weather • Quick-glance widgets: UV index with sun protection reminder, wind speed with direction arrow, dew point and comfort scale, sunrise & sunset time ... • Lock screen widgets to see the detailed forecast before you unlock • Stack multiple widgets for your morning weather briefing TRUSTED DATA SOURCES Weathergraph pulls from a curated set of professional forecast systems: • Apple Weather • Rainbow.ai (world-class radar + ML nowcast) • Foreca • Open-Meteo (and its plentahora of national foercast models) • Pirate Weather (NOAA's HRRR, GFS and GEFS models) • yr.no Pilots and surfers check wind graphs before takeoff. Photographers plan golden hour. Skiers know when exactly the blizzard starts. If you loved Dark Sky or Weather Line, you’ll feel right at home. Cleaner than Wunderground, easier than Windy or Windfinder. • Best weather app out right now

I’d consider myself a weather app connoisseur. I’ve been downloading them since they first came out for the iphone however many years ago that was. Weathergraph is my favorite right now, because it makes the weather information easily digestible! See at a glance where there’s precipitation, high and low temps, wind, in the short and long term. I hope the sources get expanded to include TWC, and I’m looking forward to multiple locations, but other than that this is perfect.
  • Not worth $25 per year

The app works fine but it’s nothing spectacular. I’d rather go with free weather apps. I regret spending $25 for this.
  • Best graphic presentation of data

I’ve been looking for something more than just a chart of numbers. Knowing the field of graphic data presentation has taken some strong steps forward, I was looking for a weather app that could give me a quick look at conditions while enabling me to spot patterns or weather issues before a warning comes from NOAA. Weathergraph is what I’ve been looking for. Once you learn the legend, it’s easy to see what’s happening. And the app developer, Tomas, is very responsive.

I have gone from bumping into this app accidentally ( the “What On Earth??” moment) to becoming a Lifetime member in less than an hour! The IOS 26 integration for the Watch and the phone are seamless. The design brought a tear to my eye! It was like meeting an old friend that went missing in 2020, and vanished without a trace… The Dark Sky… The ULTRA 3 graph complications are truly unmatched! And the middle one on Modular Ultra face -was the love at the first sight! The developer is a GENIUS, and I implore him to take really good care of himself, because every masterpiece requires maintenance , and I seriously rely on his Lifetime commitment!!! If I was to describe the WeatherGraph in just three words- it would be UNIQUE, BEAUTIFUL, PRECISE! The responsiveness of the developer to inquiries is exemplary! I couldn’t wish for anything better! To the Developer: Sensational Creation! Bravo!!
  • Glanceable Weather Line Graphs

I love weather apps that show graphs to represent current and forecasted weather. Weathergraph allows a lot of customization of the views and themes, and things like temperature, precipitation, wind, humidity and more can be represented in the graph. Overall I love the customization including horizontal and vertical graphs (like Dark Sky used to offer), and there are several data sources available. The iOS 26 update has been mostly great, with Liquid Glass visuals when pressing on the graph for the detailed views. However, I wish the bottom toolbars would minimize/collapse to follow the Apple conventions of getting toolbars out of the way to show more content when scrolling. The app requires the pro upgrade to get the most of it—if you love the way it shows the weather I’d recommend the subscription or ‘lifetime’ upgrade.
  • Just an ad for the Pro version/subscription

Worked for about 24h and then pops up an ad overlay that cannot be removed, forcing you to buy a subscription to the “Pro” version.
  • Cannot use app, must pay first

After downloading and opening the app, all I see is a list of features and a popover at the bottom “Start my free week” There is no way to dismiss it, swiping does nothing, it looks like I have to subscribe to the pro plan to test the app. How did this pass Apple testing? Weathergraph provides no functionality without paying first. I understood that to be forbidden by Apple. I would attach a screenshot if I could.
  • Best Apple Watch Widget

I signed up for the lifetime (one of two apps I’ve done this with) because I enjoy it so much. I have a widget on my iPhone lock screen and another (using a different weather model) on my Apple Watch. This is great as a quick and easy to see highs/lows, winds, rain, cloud cover, and more in a glance. Using the Modular Ultra watch face, it’s easy to view this widget. If you haven’t used this app, check out the free version and if you like it, subscribe and support Tomas!

The unique display gives so much information, so easy to read, and fast. This would be a five star app if it allowed for multiple locations.
