There should be models demonstrating the exercises.
  • Bug in the Apple Watch app is infuriating

Dear Dev Team, I’ve used this app almost every day for ~ 8 months now. Sometimes I use the iPhone version, but more often I use the Apple Watch version of this app. A big reason why I chose to *pay* for this app instead of the handful of other Kegel exercise apps I tried is because it has a Watch app. The watch app has 2 infuriating bugs. I will happily change my review to 5 stars if you fix these: Bug #1: “Discard Workout” button does not work. It just freezes the workout, flashes the app start screen, and then takes you back to the workout. Bug #2: If you try to do more than one workout in the same day (as the app encourages you to do) then any workouts after the first one will fail to run in the background after your watch display goes to sleep. This means you have to continuously tap your watch like a crazy person for the whole 3 minutes to prevent it from going to sleep. The *first* workout of the day always works fine. I start the workout on my watch, lower my wrist, and the display of my watch goes to sleep, but the sounds and vibrations of the kegel workout continue until the workout ends. Then I start my 2nd workout. I do the exact same thing, but when the watch display goes to sleep, the workout gets paused. It doesn’t continue in the background. Only if you tap the display to wake it up does it continue, but then often the timing of the countdown is no longer synced with the vibrations. The “pause” messes the workout up in a way that never resolved itself. And if you try to discard this messed up workout to start a new one, then (see “bug #1). SOMETIMES I can get around bug #2 by pressing the side button on my watch (app switcher), closing the kegel trainer app, returning to my Home Screen, and then re-launching the app. But this doesn’t always work. I have a suspicion that bug #2 has something to do with “fitness” or “mindfulness” Focus Mode being automatically turned on when I start a workout. (I.e. preventing notifications when the display goes to sleep) But that doesn’t explain why it only effects multiple workouts in the same day. PLEASE FIX THIS… If you do I promise to remove these complaints, replace them with praise, and change my review to 5 stars! Kegels have made a huge impact on my sex life, I have lots of good things to say about them, and about your app.

This is a great app. The developers should not only create a widget but also integrate your workouts with the Health Kit App.

This was perfect. Explains the reason why this is so important and then it gets straight to the exercise! Very simple to achieve effectiveness
  • Basic functionality has major bugs

I paid for a year, and it was a mistake. I set up a custom work out, as the workouts they provide are very limited and rudimentary. If during the workout you navigate or to h the screen in any way (including within the app, with in the workout screen options), the timer goes crazy. It speeds up erratically alternating randomly between contractions and rest. For such a basic app with limited functionality, overcharging $30 for a glorified timer, that the timer doesn’t work well is a joke. Pick another app, I’ll be requesting a refund.
  • It’s ok. Wish it had a reminder

The app is ok but I wish it had a reminder feature.
  • Best of the Kagel trainer apps

I tried nine of the Kagel trainer apps in the App Store. This one is the best! It’s easy to use and provides the training and support I want. Its only shortcoming is that I can’t figure out how to make it remember which sequence of three exercises make up a particular workout. It always seems to repeat the same exercise instead of stepping on to another one. I always have to recreate my workout from scratch. Not a big deal since it’s easy to do.
