I deleted the app because it stopped working. Every time I tried to plan it reported that I didn’t have any charging options.

I can’t see some chargers on the map anymore after latest update.
  • Garbage!

I joined the monthly subscription and none of the premium features unlocked. Not only that but the route planner would only draw straight lines to the destination like “as the crow fly’s” and wouldn’t locate any charging points. Not impressed!

I have been driving EVs A LOT for the last 4 years. I’ve just driven my newest one 7600 miles in 6 weeks. ABRP is BY FAR the BEST route planner for EVs. By a GREAT MARGIN. Should be called “the best route planner”!!
  • Why So Many Unnecessary Stops?

I have been trying to put together a straight forward route, maximizing the miles range for my vehicle. Why does this app constantly suggest frequent stops that are 60% of the range? Is this a marketing plan to get users to stop at preferred locations? No thanks. UPDATE (5/8): I was contacted by the developer who made some interesting observations about how charge/recharge levels would result in more frequent stops (quicker charging would result in less than 100%, thus more stops needed). Still, I can only give the app a moderate review because other apps rightfully assume we know how to adjust for less than 100% charges.
  • Not useful to me b/c I have Google Maps built into my car

My Chevy Equinox EV has built in Google maps with EV support and I found it to be more useful than ABRP for that 800 mile trip. The ABRP app for the car didn’t seem to work sharing state of charge. Overall it was just a lot easier to use the built in map.
  • Not accurate

This app should be good, because the idea is. However, it always wants to plan more stops than needed to complete a trip, no matter how you manipulate the settings it always wants to force what is a one charge trip into two when it is clearly not needed. At this point I’m clearly not keeping the subscription service and I am probably going to delete it off my phone. Too bad.

This has been broken for months, why am I paying for premium if the core feature doesn’t work.
  • USELESS!!

Not USA ready. Slow, CarPlay freezing (latest update). Regret paying for a subscription!
  • Don’t Pay

Don’t pay for live data. It’s doesn’t work. I mean it does, but it’s also always broken. The developer will claim it’s a third party providers failure, but they still take my money and don’t provide the service, so from a customer perspective, ABRP live data subscription is fraud and a scam.
