    The trial convinced me enough to go premium for a year. I’d say by default about 80% of songs transition amazingly. For the other 20% I can usually customize and tell the app when the best transition point it is. This is also assuming the playlist you choose is of similar song types. If you’re gonna mix your generic all genres playlist, the results are expectedly not the best. The app is good about organizing songs with similar BPMs and gradually increases or decreases in an order to include the whole playlist. I’m excited to see how the app will do with the announcement of Automix on Apple Music. So far from what I’ve seen Offtrack is better than the transitions I’ve seen of iOS 26 beta.

    But this app really surprised me. It really improves your listening experience throughout the day. Especially for focused playlist of the same genre, artist, or producer. I would like to see if there’s a way to extend a song before switching to the next song. Sometimes I would like a to finish a song before switching seamlessly to the next song. But this is a great app. Feels like it should be an added on feature on every music app.

    all i really want to use it for is clipping my songs to be shorter, but every time i click the purple lock button to save my preferences it resets each time i play the song. i just want the song to be the same length each time i play it.

    If you pick to play song almost to end it mixes too late, you need to be able to manually adjust this a little less close to the end, sometimes it doesn’t bring up the mix point at all, so no mix happens

    I got the pro subscription and tried it out and I already have two major complaints. The app takes super long to load your “mix” and 95% of transitions were very off and not smooth at all.

    1 the app is not intuitive the AI is okay (being nice) but only at transitioning but often times it picks the worst songs and transition points and instead of providing a robust manual transition tool i’m stuck fumbling through preset mix points that dont work sonically. It also seems like if the song isn’t a certain length the AI just wont give you any transition points and the app calls the song “not mixable” why is the app locking my transition points in perpetuity?

    This app is great in some ways. I like the settings available to customize the equalizer, playing full songs vs highlights, the integrations with other music apps, and the vibe feature listing other songs like the one you started with. However, the transitions need work. The app needs to distinguish between vocals and background beat to (1) not transition in the middle of vocals in one song, especially the chorus, and (2) stretch out just the background beat and adjust bpm to smoothly blend it into the next track. These are things real DJs do and if the AI can get there this will be an absolute game changer for listeners everywhere. It doesn’t do either right now, it’s very unclear what criteria the AI uses to decide it’s time to move on to the next song (it does it during awkward periods of heavy vocals in the previous song).

  • Cool app but a little buggy...

    It's a cool app. A little buggy with Carplay where it gets stuck when a phone call comes in. Kinda weird that Spotify and Apple Music, the standard in the music industry, isn't fully supported with all songs but Tidal is fully supported with all songs. Has potential but once these issues are sorted out, subscription will make sense but not until then.
