Dark Noise: Ambient Sounds

I immediately fell in love with this app. It has so many types of expected/unexpected sounds, and the sound quality is excellent. I also loved cute animations. Plus, when I saw the theme featuring the developer’s children's drawings, I couldn't help but smile ☺️💕

Excellent sound, continuous, blanks out noisy background. The paid version price is ridiculous at $20 per year. This would be a perfect app for a lifetime price of maybe $5

This is a praise and a frustration. I have Tinnitus and I discovered years ago that that the deep brown noise on a sound machine kept my Tinnitus at bay. But after several years of use, my sound machine broke. I searched many apps and I finally found this app and was able to mix some sounds to get that deep brown noise that I could only get here and it is about the only thing that helps me. That is a huge praise! So I have this app set to my favorite sound and it is on all the time while I’m at home. My only complaint is if I have it on and I get a text, call or an alert on my phone, the app CHANGES my sound to a real low and soft WHITE NOISE sound about 8-10 seconds after the alert, text or call. I have to unlock my phone, go to the app, and switch it back to my preferred sound. Imagine my frustration when I’m group texting!! EVERY SINGLE TIME! I don’t understand why they would make it change your sound about 8 seconds after you have laid your phone down! Now you have to go back, pick it back up and change it back. It’s just really frustrating. I really wish it didn’t do that!!

It’s good, but it’s a bit underwhelming that you get barely anything free

The free sounds on my iPhone 13 Pro are quite good. They did a good job with the recordings and how those will be reproduced with the built in speaker. The cafe sounds like a busy cafeteria and I could subtract a star for that but the other sounds make up for it

Helps me sleep like a baby

Why would you say free downlod of all those types of sounds, but only white noise is available without subscription

I love this app and use it daily. Please give us an Apple Watch app and I would love some Tibetan bowl style sounds. Thanks for making awesome app!

Tried several different apps. Most with horrible UI and absurdly expensive ($69/year for noise sounds?!?). This was a single purchase that I can use both on my Mac and iPhone. Has great simple UI and decent selection of sounds. Could use some more variety but the available ones are well thought out and cover most things.
