Featuring rolling hills on the front nine and varying dog legs on the back, the course meanders through acres of woodlands, wetlands, and grasslands. Four sets of tees on each hole, coupled with 44 bunkers mixed in, provide a unique challenge to players of all abilities. On the back nine, water comes into play on seven holes, and the undulating slope of the greens will challenge both astute and novice players. Player Course The Player Course is sprinkled with deciduous trees and classic white pines. This course takes players through our apple orchards and offers ample elevation changes throughout the design. The Player Course rewards well-positioned drives and accurate iron play with 34 bunkers protecting relatively small greens. This course can be played from 4,667 to 6,600 yards and offers a stellar mix of par 3’s that average 210 yards from the tips. On holes 11 and 13, golfers are treated to 360-degree views of southern Connecticut’s picturesque landscape. Apple Nine The Apple Nine Course opened in 2012 and was honored by the American Society of Golf Course Architects with its inaugural “Design Excellence” award. The par-29 course was ranked as the top Par 3 course in Connecticut and 10th overall in New England by New England Golf Monthly magazine. The Apple Nine wraps around one of Golf Range Association of America’s Top 50 Stand Alone hitting ranges in the US and provides a unique learning and playing experience for golfers of all ages and abilities. At par 29 and 1,600 yards, this 9-hole course is less intimidating for novices yet challenging for experienced golfers looking to shave strokes off their game.
