  • Mac OS version lacking

iOS version is my most-used app, I absolutely love it. BUT... Mac OS version needs some TLC: Zoom controls are insanely frustrating...should be able to scroll zoom while pressing "command". Also, should be able to exit out of any menu or pop-up with "esc".

Not paying with my info for you to sell just to try your app. Too bad you don't believe your product is good enough to stand on its own.

This is saying my subscription expired three years ago. I am current on my iPhone.
  • Excellent Topgraphical Tracking Maping Cource Software

This is one of the best topographical centric applications out there! Ive found it very useful in setting up a cource on my macbook and then using the Iphone and my apple watch to keep on the cource. I also use it to track some of the random hikes I take. I like the line of site ability as It gives me a really good idea for what time frames I need to consider. I like that I can identify mountains, ranges and POI's in the distance. One thing I really like is that I can import my Garmen Inreach and Inreach-mini date as I think this app gives you much better results in revieing past and future adventures.
  • Low Quality Maps

I wanted so badly to love this app, but unfortunately the maps are not high quality, especially when they are printed on paper. You can only zoom in so far on any map before it becomes so pixelated it is impossible to make out anything and is therefore unusable. The developer cites the ability to print the maps as a selling point, but when I printed a simple USGS 7.5 topo map at 1:24,000, the quality of the image of the map was so low as to be unusable. I am currently using the free trial subscription, but I will most likely cancel it before renewal.
  • An Excellent Topo Map Application

I have tried a few, and this is by far the best. The only thing I would like to see a 3D look to get a better feel of the terrain, but the lack of does not hold back any stars for the review because that's what the elevation lines are for. Excellent work!

I have used several mapping apps and found this one to fit my needs. Great layers to see the maps you need for your trip.

I've been using TopoMaps for years, and it keeps getting better. The offline maps and tracking actually work smoothly (unlike most apps), the Natural Atlas basemaps are the best I've ever seen, and the tracking and other features work like a charm. The team is also very responsive to fixing issues as they pop up. If you live in the US and have an iOS device, this is unquestionably the best recreational hiking app on the market. (p.s., I am an avid hiker, backpacker, hunter, and mountain rescue technician, so I've used a LOT of mapping systems including Gaia, Caltopo, OnX, and others.)
  • Astonishing! Unbeatable!

I've been using Topo Maps for close to a decade, during which time I've looked at a handful of alternatives. Some of them might do one thing better than Topo Maps , but for overall usability none come close. I love ☆ A huge range of maps available — half a dozen that cover my home here in Thailand in fine detail dozens and dozens for the US. ☆ More great functions than I can remember - record your track, get the bearing of that mountain and see how high it is, import data from Google Maps, set a warning if you're more than x meters off your planned route, and more and more. ☆ A knockout Apple Watch app that works fine without your phone. ☆ Unsurpassed customer service. The Pro version isn't cheap, but it's a whole lot better than getting lost or finding an unexpected gap your route.
