    I so want to love this app but there are a couple short comings- the map does not display the Exit number off interstates and the directions it gives me to my work end in a dead end.

    We have been using the app since we had a TomTom device and liked it but discontinued using it because it wasn’t as convenient as just using our phone. We were excited to use your app because of our experience with the TomTom device, but the app isn’t as accurate and sometimes gives false directions that would make the trip much longer. It’s so frustrating we will probably just use our maps app on our iPhone in the future. We also don’t use Google Maps for the same reason.

    I’ve been a TomTom fan since the beginning, and the new iOS app looks fantastic. It's visually cleaner than Apple Maps or Google Maps, with minimal driving distractions, intuitive interface, offline maps, and well-balanced lane guidance and voice prompts. But the routing is often wrong, confusing, and even dangerous… especially on straight roads with dividers/medians/islands on, which the app treats like intersections incorrectly suggesting dangerous & immediate turns. My passengers constantly joke about TomTom's terribly directions after sincere long-term testing. Surreptitious, long, or incorrect routes make it hard to trust the TomTom brand again.TomTom, your app is a promising return, but there’s still a lot of nav work under the hood. And TomTom developers, when deploying app updates, please provide clearer, detailed notes on what fixes you've made - don’t just list “bug fixes and enhancements” like the countless other developers slide past Apple App Store. Without your transparent communications, rebuilding TomTom as a trusted maps app will never happen. As far as enhancements go, would love to see added Apple Watch wrist vibration alerts for turn-by-turn directions after navigational bugs are fixed, just like Apple Maps. (Again, after nav engine bug fixes)

    Not the best maps app. Like a child of Apple and Google which has some decent features but is very lacking on actual maps. I found myself almost taking the wrong exit on multiple roads because of the lack of ability to differentiate which lane to be in. I would hate to see someone in Atlanta, GA using this or Orlando, FL with all the road changes. More attention need to be put into the interface. Also not very intuitive when ending a route when you are having to reach to the far end of your screen on CarPlay mode in the upper right corner. Cannot justify using right now. Will be deleting.

  • Home not found

    I like the new app but it will not let me add, or even find, my home’s address. You used to be able to drop a pin if it wasn’t there but it doesn’t appear I can do that on the new app. A few of my neighbors on the map show their house numbers but many others do not. How can I add my address?
